GoblinPlates

GoblinPlates is an old-school World of Warcraft nameplate addon built for fast combat triage.

Compact nameplates put the information you actually need directly in front of you without covering your screen. GoblinPlates automatically adapts important visual information to your class, specialization, and role.

Designed Around What You Need to Know

GoblinPlates isn't designed around making you configure every individual piece of information.

Its goal is simple: what does your current class, specialization, and role need to know?

Range behavior, unit emphasis, combat information, and other elements adapt automatically so the information that matters remains visible without turning every nameplate into a giant UI panel.

Blizzard Restrictions

World of Warcraft restricts how addons can modify friendly nameplates inside certain instanced content. GoblinPlates cannot bypass those client restrictions.

Retail combat may also protect or conceal some unit and aura information. GoblinPlates uses Blizzard-supported rendering paths where required and does not attempt to expose information the game client has made unavailable.

Bug reports are welcome. When reporting an issue, please include the GoblinPlates version, the full Lua error, and whether it occurred in the open world, a dungeon, raid, arena, or battleground.
