HOW IT WORKS
Your WoW character’s level sets the progression ceiling, but it does not skip the early stages. Even a high-level character starts a fresh management game and must revisit towns in WoW to discover them for that character.
Discovering a town adds it to your network; it does not automatically create a route. You choose which discovered towns to connect. Assigning goblins to a route puts it to work, while removing its crew places it on hold. Your setup influences its output and the results of deliveries.
Construction and operations progress while you are logged in and pause when you log out. The addon uses its own game resources and does not spend WoW gold or items.
SAVED DATA
Each character’s progress is stored separately in WoW SavedVariables. The interface language preference is shared across characters. Updates are designed to preserve existing games and active operations.
COMPATIBILITY AND TESTING
This version targets the WoW Forever Beta client with interface 16001 and was checked in game on beta build 1.60.1.70291.
The beta client used for testing was capped at level 30. Progression uses the real level 1–60 thresholds; levels above 30 are covered by automated tests but have not yet been verified in game. This description does not claim compatibility with a later release client.
MAP DATA AND ASSET PROVENANCE
The bundled map textures were rebuilt from minimap resources extracted from a locally installed WoW Forever Beta client using wow.export 0.2.19. One unreadable local tile was retrieved by wow.export from Blizzard’s Battle.net CDN using FileDataID 207936.
Full source details, checksums, and transformation notes are available in ASSET_PROVENANCE.txt.
The original World of Warcraft artwork is owned by Blizzard Entertainment. Goblin Black Market is an independent fan-made addon and is not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment or wow.export.
