📰 GOBLIN GAZETTE 📰
A "Paperboy" style minigame for World of Warcraft, part of the Nether addon family.
Fizzwick has a steam trike, a sack of papers and a street to deliver. Bright houses take the Gazette: a paper in the mailbox scores best, the doorstep will do. Grey houses don't subscribe, and their windows are fair game 🪟💥 Miss a subscriber, or break their window, and they cancel!

🛵 FIVE ROUTES
Elwynn Forest, Westfall, Duskwood, Durotar and Stranglethorn, each harder than the last. Busier roads, more kobolds and, from Westfall on, puddles on the road (Durotar: mud).

⚠️ HAZARDS
Obstacles, crossing chickens 🐔, oncoming horse carts, kobolds that burst out of the yards and chase you down the lane, and water that sends your trike skidding. Three trikes a round.

🎯 THE BONUS TRACK
After every street: ramps, oil slicks, targets and dummies. Hits thrown in the air score double.

🗞️ THE FRONT PAGE
Your round printed as the Gazette: a headline written from how it went, a photograph of your street, the numbers, a map of every house and your standing.

🌍 THE DAILY ROUTE
The same street for every player in the world on the same date (UTC), with a shared leaderboard for today's route and best ever. Every score is checked by riding the round again before it counts. No faking it!

🏅 MEDALS AND TROPHIES
Bronze, silver and gold medals for every round, with the best kept for each route, plus twelve achievements on the trophy shelf 🏆

🎵 SOUND
Its own music and sound effects. The riding theme turns urgent when a kobold is after you.

🛡️ SAFE TO PLAY
Combat pauses the game at once and hides the window. Nothing runs while the window is closed.
