HOW TO USE
──────────────────────────────────────

Opening the window
Type /gis or click the minimap button to open the scanner. The window is resizable — drag the bottom-right corner. Position and size are remembered between sessions.

Scanning your group
Click Scan to begin. GIS inspects each member one at a time, respecting the game's inspect throttle. Players out of range are retried automatically every 6 seconds for up to 4 minutes — you do not need to click Scan again for them. Watch the scan button: it changes from Scanning to Done when everyone reachable is resolved.

Each row shows a thin bar at the bottom while data is loading:
  · Amber bar — partial data, still resolving slot ilvls
  · Red bar — player is out of range, will retry
  · No bar — fully resolved

Columns
  · Flag — server region flag; hover to see the realm name
  · # — rank by item level
  · Name — class-coloured player name
  · Spec — active specialisation, captured during inspect
  · iLvl — average equipped item level
  · Set — tier set pieces equipped (purple = 2-3, gold = 4+)
  · Match / Slot — shown when you search for an item

Searching for an item
Type a partial item name in the search bar to see who has it equipped and in which slot. You can also paste an item link from chat, or drag an item directly from your bags onto the search bar. The autocomplete dropdown shows matching items from your current group gear, coloured by quality.

Star an item with * to save it as a favourite — it appears in the quick-bar above the columns and persists across sessions. Click History to re-search one of your last 10 searched items.

Hovering a row
Hover any player row to see their full gear list with individual slot item levels. Tier set pieces are highlighted in green. Their specialisation and role are shown at the top of the tooltip.

Newcomer alert
When a new player joins after you have already scanned, a blinking red alert appears in the header showing their name, and the Scan button changes to Refresh. Click it to include them in the scan.

Announce buttons
  · Announce Avg — sends the group's average item level to party/raid chat
  · Announce PI — counts priests and announces one DPS target per priest,
sorted by item level, excluding tanks and priests themselves
  · Buffs — lists which unique raid buffs are missing from your group
                   and which class provides them
(e.g. "Evoker: Blessing of the Bronze")
  · History — opens a popup with your last 10 item searches
  · ? — quick reference panel

All announce buttons are blocked during combat.

Clearing data
"Clear Data" (next to the search bar) wipes all scanned information and resets the window to a fresh state. GIS also clears automatically when you leave a group.

SLASH COMMANDS
──────────────────────────────────────

/gis Open or close the scanner window
/gis minimap Restore the minimap button if hidden
/gis clear Clear all scanned data

RAID BUFF REFERENCE
──────────────────────────────────────

One unique buff per class. The Buffs button tells you which ones are missing.

Druid · Mark of the Wild
  Warrior · Battle Shout
  Mage · Arcane Intellect
  Demon Hunter · Chaos Brand
  Monk · Mystic Touch
  Rogue · Atrophic Poison
  Hunter · Hunter's Mark
Evoker · Blessing of the Bronze
  Shaman · Skyfury
  Priest · Power Word: Fortitude

NOTES
──────────────────────────────────────

· Spec is captured during inspect. Out-of-range players show their class name
until they come into range and are re-inspected on a later automatic pass.

· Server flags require LibRealmInfo for full accuracy. Without it the flag
  reflects your client locale.

· The Set counter uses an internal item ID database covering Midnight Season 1
and The War Within Season 2 for all 13 classes.

· PI targeting excludes priests, tanks (by spec ID), and unscanned members.
It works even before spec detection is complete.
