Gem Blast

Play a standalone 8x8 fantasy match-three game without leaving World of Warcraft. 
Swap gems by clicking or dragging, build combos, trigger special gems, climb through levels, and compare scores with other players.

## Features

- Smooth swap, clear, fall, refill, cascade, and reshuffle animations
- Click or drag adjacent gems to make a move
- Automatic hint after 10 seconds of inactivity
- Bomb gems that clear a 3x3 area
- Combine two bombs for a powerful 5x5 explosion
- Spark gems that clear every gem of the selected color
- Automatic reshuffling when no valid moves remain
- Level progression with optional character emotes
- Saved board and score between sessions

## Leaderboards

Gem Blast includes two account-based Top 10 leaderboards:

- **Party Top 10** records scores shared by party, raid, and instance-group members
- **Public Top 10** exchanges scores through an optional hidden GemBlast channel

Each account receives one leaderboard entry, even when the player uses multiple characters. Higher saved scores are preserved when the addon is updated.

Public leaderboard participation is optional and can be enabled from the leaderboard panel.

## Controls

Open or close Gem Blast using:

- The minimap button
- `/gb`
- The **X** button
- **Escape**

The leaderboard can be collapsed using the arrow beside the game window.

## Options

The in-game menu includes:

- Auto open during flight paths
- Close when combat begins
- Sound toggle
- Window scaling
- Window position reset

The window position, scale, minimap button position, settings, current game, and leaderboard scores are saved automatically.

## Installation

Install Gem Blast through the CurseForge app, then enable it from World of Warcraft's AddOns list.

Gem Blast is designed for Retail World of Warcraft.
