What's new

0.7.0 — Nebulous Voidcore

New: the Nebulous Voidcore window. The currency's rule — one item per difficulty level until every item for your spec has been transmuted — means the pool shrinks as you use it. GearTools prices every raid boss and every dungeon: how many of the items you are aiming for are still in its pool, out of how many are left. It also names which of your specs to set as loot spec, because the same items often sit in a smaller pool for another spec of your class — strictly better odds for exactly the same items.

Click a source to open its loot table and tick off what a Voidcore has given you. Targets carry a star; the list covers your whole class, since a transmute arrives as whatever loot spec you had set. Recording is manual and per character, and only top-track items count.

New: where a set comes from. A tally under the planner's slot list counts your planned items by source, most first, with each dungeon named rather than lumped into one "Mythic+" row.

753 → 774 items. Tier tokens and curios were being dropped for having no equip slot. A Voidcore transmutes into one happily, so every pool containing one was understated.

Interface. The title bar now names the window you are in, and the windows are named for what they do. Percent stat targets are offered only for the spec you are playing, where the rating-to-percent ratio actually exists. Tooltips reviewed throughout, in both languages.

Approximation, not probability. Every item in a pool is treated as equally likely, and loot tables are not. The odds are directionally right — good for choosing between two bosses — not something to bet on.
