More Accurate Scores

Scores are now calculated using the same formula as the popular GearScoreLite addon, so results will be much closer to what other players see on their GearScore addons.

Gems & Enchants Now Count

• Each socketed gem in your gear adds +5 to your score
• Items with an enchant applied get a +5% bonus to that item's score

Better Colors

The score color now smoothly transitions across the full score range instead of jumping between fixed thresholds — making it easier to see at a glance how good a score is.

Hunters Get Proper Scoring

Hunter weapons are now scored correctly:

• Melee weapons (which Hunters rarely use) are heavily down-weighted
• Ranged weapons (bows, guns, crossbows) are up-weighted to reflect their importance

Bug Fix: Gems Were Not Being Counted

Items with 1 or 2 gems socketed were always counting as 0 due to a variable assignment bug. Only the 3rd gem slot was ever being read. This is now fixed — all gem slots are counted correctly.
