Season 3: Vengeful Gladiator's is the new top floor

The PVP tab now leads with Vengeful Gladiator's gear for every spec, priced in arena points as read at the Area 52 vendors on the day the season opened. Weapons and shoulders carry the new rating gates, and the tooltip says so before you walk to the vendor: weapons need a personal and team arena rating of 1700, shoulders 2000. Helm, chest, legs, gloves, shields, wands and relics have no gate.

Merciless Gladiator's stays on the list as the discounted road to full arena gear, with today's cut prices, and the Season 1 Gladiator's set keeps its place as the honor road, now with honor prices on every slot for every class. Armor prices are the same per slot across classes, so a mail or cloth piece shows the same number as the plate piece that was measured.

Every spec now has its PvP weapons

Paladins, hunters, druids and shamans never had weapon or relic rows in their PVP list, and Combat rogues, mages, warlocks and priests were missing their main and off hand. All 18 specs now show the full Vengeful weapon set for their build, with the Merciless and Season 1 versions underneath, plus the Season 3 relic for every relic-using spec. Holy priests get the healer wand instead of the damage wand.

Season 3 honor off-set: Vindicator's replaces Veteran's

The honor vendors no longer sell the Veteran's pieces, so bracers, belt, boots, neck and ring in every PVP list are now the Vindicator's versions, priced in honor plus battleground marks exactly as the Champions' Hall vendors ask for them. Eye of the Storm marks appear as a new currency on the cost line.

Two slots the PVP lists never had are filled in: a Back row (Sergeant's Heavy Cloak for melee and hunters, Sergeant's Heavy Cape for casters and healers, with the right item for your faction) and a Battlemaster's trinket as an honor alternative to the badge trinket. The Medallion of the Alliance / Horde shows its honor price.

Fixes

• A handful of raid-phase rows for warrior, shaman and druid pointed at Vengeful or Brutal items while describing themselves as last season's honor gear. They now say what they are; the Season 4 pieces are marked as not sold yet.
• The druid's Vengeful Gladiator's Staff row was missing its price and rating gate.
