GatherPro

GatherPro is a lightweight gathering assistant for WoW Classic that watches your minimap and your kills so you never run past a resource again. It covers all three gathering professions — Herbalism, Mining, and Skinning — with clear on-screen flash and sound alerts.

Overview

Point yourself at what you want to gather and GatherPro handles the rest. It scans your minimap for herb and ore tracking blips as you travel, and it watches the beasts you kill for skinnable leather, hide, and scales. When something you care about is nearby, it flashes your screen and plays an alert so you can keep your eyes on the road.

Features

Three professions, one addon

• Herbalism and Mining detection through minimap tracking, with automatic switching when you scan for both.
• Skinning alerts that remind you when a corpse you've looted is ready to skin — accurately, using the game's own skinnable indicator, so you're never pinged for something you can't skin.

Scan for exactly what you want

• Enable any combination of Herbs, Ores, and Skinning. Run a herb-only loot route, a herb-and-mine sweep, or a skinning grind — whatever fits your session.
• Per-node selection: choose the individual herbs, ores, and leather/scale types you actually want, and ignore the rest.

Skill-aware tracking

• GatherPro reads your current profession skill and can automatically track only the nodes and corpses that still grant a skill-up, updating as you level.
• Every node shows its difficulty tiers and full loot table at a glance.

Built for real gameplay

• Adjustable scan speed, tracking-switch interval, and an auto-resume timer for nodes you ignore. Ignore a herb while scanning both, and it intelligently moves on to look for ore instead of re-alerting the same node.
• Pauses in combat, on flight paths, and while you're interacting with the world, so it stays out of your way.
• Screen flash (with optional difficulty-based coloring), sound, and taskbar-flash alerts — turn on what you like.

Easy to set up

• A clean, redesigned options panel with plain-language settings.
• Accessible from the standard Escape → Options → AddOns menu, by typing /gp, or with a custom Start/Stop keybind.
• Settings are saved per character.

Notes

• Designed for Classic Era and Burning Crusade Classic clients.
• Hunters with a pet or Hunter's Mark active may notice minor minimap tooltip flicker; this is a client-side behavior outside the addon's control.
