Gargul Loot Council Extension
Lightweight loot council voting built directly on top of Gargul roll-offs.
This addon is meant as an alternative to existing loot council addons — in a deliberately lightweight manner, for guilds that are already used to Gargul. If your raid runs Gargul for rolls, soft-res, or loot priorities, this adds council voting on top of the workflow you already know: no separate session windows, no parallel loot systems, no retraining your raiders.
Who needs to install it
Only the master looter and the loot council members need this addon. That's the whole point.
- Raiders: optional. They keep using stock Gargul — they roll with the normal Gargul roll buttons, exactly as before. They can even attach a note to their roll by whispering the master looter
!note <text>(e.g.!note going resto next phase) — no addon needed for that. Installing the extension is only useful for raiders if you enable public votes and want them to see the live tally panel. - Council members get a voting panel when a roll-off starts: click a candidate to vote, click again to retract. Votes are whispered invisibly to the master looter.
- The master looter configures the council and sees the live tally next to Gargul's roll window.
Features
- Council voting on Gargul roll-offs — the vote panel opens automatically for council members whenever the master looter starts a roll. One vote per councilor per item, changeable until awarded.
- Rich candidate rows — for every roller: the roll button they pressed + their roll, what they currently have equipped in that slot (hover for tooltips), days since their last major-upgrade award (hover shows the item), whispered notes, and council vote counts.
- Set bonus preview — a green
+settag when awarding the item would unlock a set bonus for that candidate, with the exact bonus in the tooltip. Understands TBC tier tokens (requires AtlasLoot Classic): infers the right class variant from worn gear, or lists everything the token redeems into. - Anonymous or public voting — show who voted for whom, or counts only. Optionally announce the vote summary in raid chat when awarding, for full transparency.
- Raider notes without a raider addon —
!note <text>whispers are captured and shown to the council. - Native Gargul integration — a "Loot Council" tab appears inside Gargul's own settings window; the vote panel uses Gargul's dialog styling, and is movable and resizable.
- Reliable by design — candidate lists come from public
/rollresults (server-side, can't be dropped), and votes travel as targeted whispers rather than raid-wide addon bursts.
Setup (master looter)
- Install the addon (you and your council).
/glc→ add your council members (one name per line) → Accept.- Pick your options: public votes, anonymous voting, announce on award.
- Start Gargul roll-offs as usual — everything else is automatic.
/glc test shows the panel with fake data so you can try it solo.

Requirements
- Gargul (required)
- AtlasLoot Classic (optional — enables tier-token set-bonus previews)
Tips
- Rename your Gargul roll brackets (Gargul settings → Roll Tracking) to things like
BiS / Upg / OS / PvP— raiders' roll buttons then express intent, and the "Major upgrade brackets" setting decides which awards count for the "days since last major award" column.
