What's new
GS Battle Lab — Version 1.0.4
⚔️ Combat Intelligence, Expanded
Battle Lab 1.0.4 substantially expands what can be remembered about a fight. Damage and healing remain important, but this update pushes Battle Lab deeper into the actions that actually explain how a fight was played.
🩸 Bloodlust & Heroism Tracking
Battle Lab can now recognize the major Bloodlust-family effects received during combat, including:
- Bloodlust
- Heroism
- Time Warp
- Primal Rage
- Fury of the Aspects
Lockout effects such as Exhaustion, Sated, and Temporal Displacement are used as additional evidence to improve detection reliability.
🛡️ Class Activity Tracking
Combat snapshots can now preserve meaningful personal cooldown usage instead of recording only raw throughput.
Battle Lab tracks a growing catalog of offensive, defensive, healing, and utility cooldowns across classes and specializations.
This allows journals powered by Battle Lab to answer more than:
“How much damage did I do?”
They can begin answering:
“What did I actually use during the fight?”
🤝 External Raid Effects
Battle Lab can now observe important support received from other players, including effects such as:
- Power Infusion
- Pain Suppression
- Guardian Spirit
- Ironbark
- Life Cocoon
- Blessing of Sacrifice
- Rallying Cry
These are recorded separately from the player's own Class Activity so journals can distinguish what you used from what your group used on you.
🛑 Expanded Stop Tracking
Interrupts are no longer the entire story.
Battle Lab's combat observations have been expanded toward a broader picture of enemy control and successful stops, providing better groundwork for evaluating utility alongside damage and healing.
✨ Cleanse & Dispel Intelligence
Battle Lab now contains improved cleanse observation capable of correlating recognized cleanse casts with harmful aura removal.
The system is designed conservatively to avoid simply counting every cleanse-button press as a successful removal.
📊 Richer Combat Snapshots
Finalized Battle Lab records can carry a much richer picture of a fight, including:
Damage • DPS • Healing • HPS • Damage Taken • Interrupts • Dispels • Deaths • Bloodlust • Class Activity • External Effects • Stops and utility observations
This expanded snapshot data is available to other GameSlayve journals and systems through Battle Lab's shared combat-record service.
🧠 Stronger Run Lifecycle
Battle Lab received substantial lifecycle hardening for longer activities such as Mythic+.
Run-level accumulators are better protected across:
- non-combat periods,
- dungeon transitions,
- encounter boundaries,
- temporary activity-state changes,
- and unusual dungeon mechanics.
Finalization is now more deliberately tied to authoritative run-ending conditions rather than incidental combat transitions.
🧾 Improved Combat Ledger Validation
Battle Lab continues to validate its own accounting against available reference data.
Coverage, lifecycle state, warnings, recovery information, and ledger validity provide stronger diagnostic evidence when verifying a finalized combat record.
✈️ Flight Recorder Improvements
The Battle Lab Flight Recorder has been expanded as a development and validation tool.
It provides a chronological view of important lifecycle decisions without requiring normal players to see diagnostic chatter during gameplay.
🔇 Quieter Production Experience
A large diagnostic-output cleanup was completed for 1.0.4.
Personal cooldown detection, Bloodlust discovery, external-effect observation, cleanse inspection, and automatic run preparation can operate without filling normal player chat with development messages.
Manual Battle Lab diagnostics remain available when troubleshooting is actually needed.
🔌 GameSlayve Integration
Battle Lab continues its transition into the shared combat-record service for the wider GameSlayve addon family.
The canonical runtime is now built around:
GameSlayve.BattleLab
with compatibility bridges retained for systems developed against earlier Combat Lab interfaces.
This allows Keystone Party and future GameSlayve modules to consume the same finalized combat information without creating competing combat engines.
GS Battle Lab 1.0.4
The meter measures the fight.
Battle Lab remembers it.
This release lays more of the groundwork for GameSlayve journals to remember not just how much happened during an adventure, but what the player and their group actually did to make it happen.
