Gamba Addon

Gamba is a standalone World of Warcraft Classic addon for running guild gambling games, tracking rolls, calculating debts, and settling payments cleanly between players.

Main Features

• Standalone addon, separate from the full iddqd app.
• Compatible with players using either the standalone Gamba addon or the full iddqd addon.
• Simple roll game flow:
  • Start a lobby
  • Players join with 1
  • Players leave with -1
  • Host locks in the game
  • Players roll
  • Winner, loser, and gold owed are calculated automatically

Game Modes and Communication

• Supports multiple communication modes:

• Addon-only mode sends game updates silently through the addon channel, without spamming guild, party, or raid chat.
• Optional chat announcements for players who want visible game messages.
• Last call and roll reminder support.
• Auto-cancel for empty lobbies.

Roll Tracking

• Tracks all joined players.
• Displays player rolls in a clean roll table.
• Supports ties and rerolls.
• Only tied players reroll while locked winners or losers stay locked.
• Dice roll button included.
• Optional auto-join.
• Optional auto-roll when rolling starts.

Debt Tracking

• Automatically calculates how much gold the loser owes the winner.
• Keeps running totals between the same players.
• Multiple games against the same player are netted into one clean balance.
• Example:
  • Game 1: Cylo owes Nesi 10g
  • Game 2: Nesi owes Cylo 30g
  • Final balance: Nesi owes Cylo 20g
• Open debts table shows current unpaid balances.
• History table tracks completed games and payments.
• Character and account-wide debt/stat tracking support.

Payment and Trade Helper

• Adds a small trade helper window above the trade frame.
• Shows if you owe the player gold.
• Shows if the player owes you gold.
• Uses red text when you owe gold.
• Uses green text when the other player owes you gold.
• Displays gold icons instead of plain “g”.
• Can verify payments through trade and update open debts automatically.

Account-Wide Tracking

• Account-wide debt tracking is supported per realm.
• Debts can be viewed and settled across your own registered characters.
• Useful if you gamble on multiple characters but want one combined balance.
• Characters are registered automatically when you log into them with the addon enabled.

• Tracks:
  • Net gold
  • Total won
  • Total lost
  • Gold owed to you
  • Gold you owe
• Displays open debts.
• Displays game history.
• Includes paginated history tables.
• Clean compact table layout.

Sound Options

• Optional sound alerts for:
  • New game started
  • You won
  • You lost
• Sounds are disabled by default.
• Supports Blizzard sounds and LibSharedMedia sounds from other addons when available.
• Sound dropdowns include preview buttons.

Interface

• Clean standalone Gamba window.
