Frogski’s Cursor Trail
2.0.3 (14-02-2026)
- Reduced the load on CPU even further by around 20-30%! killing the ClearAllPoints/SetPoint spam
- Added a new Adaptive Update Rate to reduce the load above 90FPS by default (the user can decide to update the cursor once per second or 240 times per second with a slider)

2.0.2 (04-02-2026)
Major engine optimisation focused on lowering CPU usage while keeping the trail smooth. I reworked the update logic and added a new Adaptive Update Rate that scales with your FPS: below 90 it updates every frame, between 90–120 it updates 2/3 frames, and above 120 it updates every second frame. Overall it’s a much lighter and smarter engine now, with no visible quality loss!
Added an option to display the active mode and current FPS.

2.0.1 (04-02-2026)
- Rebuilt the addons egnine from scratc, dramatically reducing FPS impact.
- Default settings are now visually polished and optimized for near-zero performance cost out of the box.
- Added an optional debug display showing active texture count and real-time FPS impact.

2.0.0 (04-02-2026)
Trail engine update.
