Manual Group Ordering

• Reorder Your Groups: Right-click any group header to access the new "Move Up" and "Move Down" options, letting you arrange your contact list exactly how you want instead of being locked to alphabetical order.
• Reset Options: A "Reset Position" entry returns an individual group to its default spot, and a new "Reset Group Order" button in the settings clears all manual ordering at once.
• Saved & Synced: Your custom group order is remembered and travels with the new Settings Backup.

Settings Backup (Export & Import)

• Full Comprehensive Backup: A new "Settings Backup" section exports your entire FriendGroups configuration into a single code. Every appearance and behavior setting, list size, manual group order, banner colors, nicknames, selected mains, and your full known-alts database.
• One-Click Restore: Paste a backup code into the Import window to restore everything instantly, ideal for safeguarding your setup before a reinstall, or copying it across your other accounts.
• Date Stamped: Each backup records when it was created. The Advanced menu shows your "Last backup" date at a glance, and restoring a code confirms the backup's creation date.
• Slash Commands: Use /fg export and /fg import to open the backup windows directly.

Redesigned Settings Menu

• Compact Layout: The settings menu has been reorganized to cut its height. "Contact List Size" and "Group Behavior" are now tidy sub-menus, while the frequently-toggled "Filter" and "Appearance" options stay on the first layer for quick, live tweaking.
• Advanced Sub-Menu: Automation, Spirit Behavior, Alt Characters, Settings Backup, and System & Reset are now grouped under a single "Advanced" fly-out, with the destructive "Reset to Default" safely tucked away.
• Version at a Glance: The Advanced sub-menu now displays your installed FriendGroups version number.
• Visual Dividers: Horizontal rules now separate each section for cleaner readability.

Guild Group Management

• Add to Guild Group: Right-click any friend and use the new "Add to Guild Group" sub-menu to place them in a guild group. This writes a <GuildName> tag into their note and works for any guild group, including Auto-Guild groups.
• Remove from Guild Group: A matching "Remove from Guild Group" option cleanly strips that manual tag. Friends placed in a group automatically by the live guild roster correctly cannot be removed, since their membership is automatic.
• Main Defines the Guild: When you select a Main character for a friend, that main's guild now determines their guild group, overriding whichever character they're currently logged in on. It will even create a guild group for a guild your own character isn't in, and it stays consistent across your accounts.

Right-Click Menu Refinements

• Restructured Header Menu: The group header menu has been reorganized into logical sections, with "Remove Group" isolated at the bottom and colored red (matching the settings reset) to prevent accidental deletion.
• Favorites Banner Colors: The custom banner color picker is now available on the Favorites group, just like every other group.
• Cleaner "No Group" Menu: Ungrouped friends no longer show a "Remove from Group" option, and the "No Group" header can no longer be invited to a party.

Clearer Alt Tracking Toggle

• Renamed & Explained: "Show Known Alt Characters Panel" has been renamed to "Enable Alt Character Tracking" to make clear it controls the entire tracking system, not just the panel. A new hover tooltip explains that it tracks your friends' characters and that turning it off clears all stored alt data.

Quality of Life & Fixes

• Nickname Length Cap: Custom nicknames are now capped at 20 characters to keep the friends list tidy.
• Silent Login: Removed the empty [FriendGroups] tag that printed in chat on login.
• Full Localization: All new menus, tooltips, and messages have been translated across all 12 supported languages.
