Enhanced Privacy & Data Control

• True Opt-Out (Master Kill-Switch): Users now have a master kill-switch for alt tracking. Unchecking the setting completely halts all background harvesting and recording of Battle.net account data.
• Instant Database Purge & Confirmation: The moment you disable the feature, your existing local database of alts is immediately wiped from your SavedVariables, ensuring no orphaned data is left sitting on your hard drive. A clear, immediate chat message will confirm that tracking is disabled and the database has been successfully wiped.
• Login Safety Net: If a user logs in with the setting disabled, the addon will automatically sweep and destroy any legacy data from older versions to respect their privacy choices.
• Visual Consistency: As expected, the Alt Tooltip side-panel and the "aka" text next to friends' names will remain hidden when the feature is turned off.

Performance Improvements

• Reduced CPU Churn: For users who disable the tracking, the addon will now completely bypass redundant Battle.net API lookups during background roster updates, direct button hovers, and full list rebuilds.
• Lighter Memory Footprint: By stopping data collection and wiping the cache for opted-out users, the overall memory usage and file size of the addon's SavedVariables will remain as small as possible.

Bug Fixes

• Fresh Install Lua Error Resolved: Fixed a bug that caused a Lua error (attempt to index field 'alt_cache' (a nil value)) exclusively on fresh installations. The addon now properly initializes the cache on its first touch during the friends-list build, ensuring a clean, error-free load for new users while the Known Alts panel populates normally as friends come online.
