FreezingTracker — Changelog
v3.3.0 — Arcane Sunfury Support & Max-Stack Color
This release makes the Arcane bar aware of your hero talent and adds a color option that fires at max stacks.
Added
- Hero-talent-aware Salvo cap. On Arcane, the bar and its glow now track Arcane Salvo's real maximum — 25 stacks under Sunfury, 20 under Spellslinger — and update the moment you swap hero talents (no
/reload). The bar now fills all the way to 25 in Sunfury (five extra segments). - Max Stacks Color. A new Arcane option, sitting under Salvo Glow, tints the whole bar to a color of your choice when you reach the max-stack cap — a color companion to the Salvo glow. Off by default.
/ft herodump. A small diagnostic command that prints your active hero talent, used to confirm the Salvo caps.
Changed
- Salvo Glow is now labelled "Salvo Glow (Max Stacks)" and fires at your hero-talent cap (25/20) instead of a fixed 20.
- Simpler Arcane options. The Arcane view drops the Threshold slider and the Segments slider — both are meaningless on Arcane, where everything keys off the max-stack cap. Frost keeps all of its controls unchanged.
v3.2.0 — Glow Fidelity & Per-Spec Glow Controls
This release makes the bar's glow look right at any size and gives each spec its own glow controls. It builds on the per-spec tracking from v3.1.
Added
- Frost glow controls. In the Frost view of
/ft, a Glow 1 Threshold slider sets the stack count where the first glow kicks in, and a Max-Stack Glow (20) toggle adds a second, brighter glow at the 20-stack cap. With both on, the lower tier glows a softer gold and 20 stacks glows full-intensity; with one on, it always glows full. - Arcane Salvo glow. In the Arcane view, a single Salvo Glow (20) toggle lights the bar gold when Arcane Salvo reaches its 20-stack cap. No threshold or color to set — Arcane stays simple.
Changed
- Glow now matches Blizzard's Cooldown Manager. The glow traces cleanly around the bar's actual shape at any width and height, replacing the old effect that looked squished and jittery on a short, wide bar.
- Options panel layout polish. Labels are left-aligned with their control on the right across every row, slider labels no longer overlap the slider handle, and the panel grows to fit exactly what the active spec shows — the Arcane panel is visibly shorter than Frost. Switching spec while the panel is open resizes it instantly.
Fixed
- Glow clears the moment it should. It now turns off immediately when you're not tracking anything, at zero stacks, or out of combat — no more glow lingering on an idle bar.
v3.1.0 — Per-Spec Tracking, Breakpoints & Arcane Salvo
FreezingTracker is now spec-aware. Frost and Arcane each keep their own bar setup, and the addon tracks the right thing for whichever spec you're playing.
Added
- Per-spec settings. Every bar setting — size, colors, breakpoints, glow, visibility, position — is now saved per specialization. Set Frost up one way and Arcane another; the addon swaps automatically when you change spec, no
/reload. - Arcane Salvo tracking. On Arcane spec, the bar tracks Arcane Salvo stacks. Frost's Freezing tracking is unchanged — the two run as separate engines and only the active spec's runs.
- A second color breakpoint. Define up to two stack thresholds, each with its own bar color, on top of the base color.
- Glow at your breakpoint. The bar glows (native gold) when it reaches a breakpoint, driven combat-safely without relying on the hidden stack count.
- Spec-tabbed options panel. The
/ftpanel has a tab per spec; switching tabs rebinds every control to that spec's settings live, and the panel accent re-themes to the spec.
Changed
- Settings migrate automatically. Your existing v3.0 setup carries into the new per-spec storage on first login — no reconfiguration and no reset.
