FrameUnlocker-1.7.4
What's new
Version 1.7.4
Improvements
- Bag frame unlock is now on by default - The combined bag frame unlocks and can be dragged freely right away on a fresh install, instead of needing to be turned on in the options first. Existing users' current setting is unchanged either way.
Bug Fixes
- Party member repositioning could tank FPS in some group content - With "Reposition members" enabled, Blizzard's own party frame layout can repeatedly try to reset a customized member back to its default spot (seen during a dungeon run with frequent roster updates), and the addon was fighting back on every single attempt. Repositioning now backs off automatically for a few seconds if that happens instead of fighting indefinitely, so it can no longer sustain a redraw loop. A customized position may briefly drift back during an unusually bursty stretch, but it settles again shortly after.
Version 1.7.3
New Features
- Reposition individual party members - Party frames (the non-raid-style member frames) can now be moved independently of each other instead of staying locked into Blizzard's single stacked block. Enable "Reposition members" under Party frames in the options, click Move to drop a draggable box for each member slot, arrange them, then Lock. Retail and WoW Forever only for now — Classic Era and TBC Anniversary use a different party frame structure under the hood and aren't covered by this yet.
Version 1.7.2
Bug Fixes
- Arena/flag carrier scale change could throw a protected-action error mid-arena -
ArenaEnemyFrames:SetScale()is combat-restricted, not just its position — arena and battleground combat starts almost immediately after these frames appear, so applying a saved scale (on login, or from a slider change) could hitADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED. Scale changes now defer to combat end the same way repositioning already did.
