FPS+++
FPS+++ is a simple addon that helps you get more FPS in the moments where it actually matters, like raid boss fights and busy dungeons.
The idea is that most of the stuff that kills your framerate (particles, shadows, extra UI clutter, view distance) really only hurts during heavy fights. So instead of lowering your graphics all the time, FPS++ lets you pick WHEN the changes kick in. You keep your normal settings for running around the world, and the addon drops things down on its own when you enter the situations you picked. When the fight is over, everything goes back to normal by itself.
Pick when it applies
You choose the moments where the improvements turn on:
- In dungeons
- During dungeon bosses
- In raids
- During raid bosses (default)
- Always on
What it can do while active
Hide parts of the Blizzard UI: minimap, buffs, raid frames, action bars, and the built in damage meter
Lower graphics like shadows, particle density, liquid detail, fog, ground clutter, view distance, anti aliasing and a few more
Everything it changes is reversible. If something looks off, type /fps reset and it puts your settings back.
Live FPS Test
There is a separate window where every option applies the second you click it. This one is for testing. Turn a setting off, look at your FPS, turn it back on, and you can actually see how much that one thing was costing you.
Built in FPS meter
FPS++ has its own live FPS graph, so you do not need a second addon just to watch your framerate. It shows a fast 200ms average and a smoother 2 second average plus the current number. You can pop it out into its own movable window and leave it anywhere on your screen. You can also change its size and how see through it is.
Extra stuff
A lightweight raid frame option if you want to hide the Blizzard raid frames and use something cheaper on your FPS.
