v0.7.4 — Session Controls, Level-up Sounds & Settings

Session management

• Added hover controls across the XP bar: Reset Session on the left and Pause Session / Unpause Session on the right.
• Reset Session clears the current session timer, XP earned, kills, quests and session level statistics and restarts XP/hour tracking without resetting the character's actual level progress.
• Pausing freezes the session timer and excludes new XP from the session total until resumed.
• Session hover controls can be disabled in the Adjust settings.

Level-up audio

• Expanded the available level-up sounds with custom Alliance and Horde voice clips, including For the Alliance – Anduin and For the Horde – Sylvanas.
• New default sound selection follows the character's faction: Anduin for Alliance, Sylvanas for Horde.
• Sounds remain configurable, previewable and optional under Settings > Visuals > Level-up.
• Custom .ogg files must be present in the addon's Sound directory before starting the game.

Settings improvements

• Added a one-time level-up audio information popup when opening Settings.
• The popup explains where to disable level-up sounds.
• Clicking I understand dismisses the notice for subsequent openings.
• Moved Level-up settings to the top of the Visuals section for easier access.
• Updated the displayed addon version and TOC to 0.7.4.

Notes

• Existing XP bar appearance, race functionality, and level-up card features are retained.
• Existing addon companion files and custom audio files must be kept when updating.

Settings welcome guide (updated)

• Redesigned the first-open Settings notice as a dark, three-section feature guide.
• Explains faction-specific level-up sounds and how to disable audio under Visuals.
• Highlights animated XP fill effects, which are disabled by default, and where to enable them.
• Introduces Challenge mode for faction races and friend challenges.
• I understand permanently dismisses the guide for that character's saved settings.

Welcome panel and Global Race improvements

• Added blue, bold, clickable Visuals and Challenge section links beside each What's New feature heading. Links navigate directly to the relevant settings tab.
• Highlighted important settings keywords in gold for readability.
• Global Race (level 60) now retains last-known player standings in saved variables after players go offline and across reloads. The board keeps offline entries instead of removing them after seven minutes; standings update when players broadcast again. The remembered list is limited to 2,500 players per realm/faction to bound saved-variable size. Offline data is last-known progress, not live progress.

What's New panel: session controls

• Added 04 SESSION CONTROLS with a clickable blue Adjust link that opens Settings > Adjust.

• Explains that hovering over the XP bar allows pausing, resuming and resetting the leveling session, and that hover controls can be enabled in Adjust.

• Retained the original 510 x 430 welcome-panel dimensions; compacted the four feature cards to fit without resizing the popup.

• Welcome panel: I understand hides the guide until the next UI reload or login; Do not show again permanently disables it. Prior acknowledgements no longer permanently suppress the guide.
