• Your setup survives the beta's saving bug. The Forever beta currently saves every addon's settings and never loads them back after a restart (a client bug, forever-bugs #34), so ForeverUI kept dropping back to the full interface. It now keeps the essentials in one or two character macros named "FUI Save 1", "FUI Save 2" -- your setup answers, which parts of ForeverUI run (Frames only stays Frames only), your role grids, every role's click-casts and where each grid sits -- and brings them back at login when the game hands back nothing. You don't need to do anything; please don't delete those macros. Other settings still start from their defaults until Blizzard fixes the client.
• It tells you what happened. The login warning for the saving bug never fired before; it does now, and the setup screen explains it too.
