ForeverUI 0.4.1
What's new
Fixes for 0.4.0, and an introduction.
The tanking and DPS grids could not come up at all, and closing any grid threw an error. A migration seeding a role's missing settings copied every one of them through a table-copy, and most of those settings are plain booleans; it raised inside the grid build. That is the one to update for.
Leaving combat could throw "attempt to index upvalue 'anchor'". Two of the layout passes deferred their work until the fight ended, and by the time they ran the grid they were queued for had moved on.
Grids landing in the wrong place after a reload. The position code read the position of the role you were configuring and applied it to whichever grid was current -- the same frame only when one grid exists.
The options window now shows the role it is FOR. If you set clicks in the Tank window, closed and reloaded, they could come back reading Empty. They were always saved: the window was repainting itself from another grid's settings and showing you someone else's bindings. Nothing was ever lost.
Incoming heals never showed at all. The split into "mine" and "everyone else's" did arithmetic on values Forever can hand back secret, which throws, and the frame then gave up on measuring permanently -- one refused read and that frame was done for the session.
Overhealing was being thrown away. Incoming was clamped to the health that was missing and the remainder discarded, which is the one number a healer most wants back: the difference between "they are covered" and "you are both wasting a cast on the same person". It now draws over the end of the bar, with its own switch next to Incoming heals.
And there is a welcome window and an Info page. ForeverUI is a beta written for Forever and nothing else, with 6 November as the date to be steady by, and I would rather hear about what breaks than not. The BattleTag is on the Info page with a button that puts it in your chat box. No form, no tracker -- "the tank grid went blank when I zoned" is a perfectly good bug report.
