Horde Female Voice Pack for WoW Forever
Stuck at 33% downloaded with a voice pack? That's normal, it first downloads the pack then takes most of the 5-10 minutes extracting the hundreds of thousands of mp3 files, then continues with the installation.
Requires ForeverPlayerVoicedTTS - Core. This voice-only pack supplies pre-generated recorded voices; the Core provides one shared speech engine, settings and menus. All gameplay speech runs inside WoW, with no external speech program needed.
Voices
Five female voices: Orcs, Undead, Tauren, Trolls and Skyborne. With only one Horde pack installed, both male and female Horde characters use its voices. Install both gender packs for corresponding male and female voices.
Install and use
- Install and enable the Core and Horde Female pack in WoW Forever.
- Let installation finish, then restart WoW.
- Click the minimap icon or type /fpvtts, choose channels and voice preferences, and try a preview.
Installation warning: Each pack can take 5-10 minutes to install because it contains hundreds of thousands of small MP3 files.
Loading warning: One or two voice packs, one recommended. Each pack may add around 5 seconds to startup and loading. All four packs (both complete factions) can make loading very long. Installation and loading times vary by computer and storage speed.
Speech and controls
Complete recorded phrases and words play first, followed by recorded syllable/piece assembly for extra words and player names. Unsupported text can use WoW's built-in TTS. Unfamiliar names and assembled pronunciations may be approximate.
- Choose chat categories, public channels and custom channels.
- Announce the speaker's first name using separate name pronunciation.
- Reorder waiting-message priorities; backlog limiting is on by default. The current message finishes first.
- Adjust recording gaps and native TTS balance; save preferences in presets.
- Mute players, filter repeated messages, and optionally normalize chat spelling and slang.
- Use voice previews and the recording-gap test in settings.
Normalization and word substitutions affect speech only; original chat stays unchanged. Recordings use WoW's Dialogue channel. Set Master and Dialogue volume, then adjust TTS balance in the addon. For native fallback, select an available voice under Accessibility / Text to Speech.
