ForeverMapNotes-BySiberiano12-v1.3.0.zip
What's new
v1.3.0
New
- Fishing pools: a new category with School of Fish, Tastyfish, Oily Blackmouth, Firefin Snapper, Deviate Fish, Sagefish and Greater Sagefish schools, Floating Wreckage and Oil Spills.
- Turn each pool type on or off, like ores and herbs. The tooltip shows your Fishing skill.
- Learns while you fish: when you fish from a pool, the addon saves its spot (about where your bobber lands) and the minimap ring turns green.
- The built-in data only has a few pools, so the map fills in as you fish.
- Library books (WoW Forever): a new category with the books you can turn in to the librarians for the "Friend of the Library" rewards (10, 20 and 25 books).
- A book icon on every known spot, with a tooltip telling where the book is (shelf, table, cave...), in your language.
- The librarian of your faction is marked too: Garion Wendell (Stormwind) or Owen Thadd (Undercity).
- Progress: the tooltip says if you already turned the book in, if it is in your bags, and your count ("Library books turned in: 3/38").
- Turned-in books are detected automatically and disappear from the map (option to keep showing them, greyed out).
- In the world map filter panel, expand Library Books to check by hand the books you already turned in.
- When you pick a book up somewhere else than listed, the addon learns the real spot.
- Gathering route: a closed loop through every visible ore vein, herb, fishing pool or chest of the zone, drawn as a line on the world map and the minimap.
- Choose what the route goes through (ore, herbs, fishing pools, treasures), and the color.
- It follows your filters: hide a type or use "Only nodes I can gather" and the route skips those spots.
- Turn it on in the filter panel (Show gathering route) or in the menu (Gathering route), which also shows the number of stops and the length in yards.
- The minimap button tooltip now shows the addon version.
Fixed
- The Fishing skill was not read on clients that list professions with empty slots.
Notes
- Fishing pool spots come from QuestieDB. Library book spots come from community guides (foreverchanges.pro, warcrafttavern.com); a few are player reports and are marked as approximate.
- Idea from Justegaard on CurseForge. Thanks!
