ForeverGuild 1.1.0
What's new
1.1.0
forevercommunity.org's Export and Import, for Raid leaders.
New
- Export (Admin,
/fg exportall): the guild's data as JSON for forevercommunity.org. Tick any of Guild Bank, Roster, Raid Groups, Loot History and Raid Signups (all ticked to begin with), then Export: it asks the server for a fresh roster first, then builds from the guild's saved copy into a copy box selected whole for Ctrl+C, with its size ("214 KB") and what is in it. The same data gives the same bytes; times are Unix seconds, UTC. - Import (Admin,
/fg import): paste what forevercommunity.org exports and Check: what would change, by kind ("3 raids new, 1 changed, 1 cancelled; 12 signups; 2 raid groups; 5 roles; 4 loot edits"), and every change refused with the reason. Apply writes it as your own changes, checked by every client as if made in game: raid events (created, updated or cancelled, a re-import updating the same event), signups made on the site, raid groups, roles and loot corrections (each with its audit entry, its reason startingforevercommunity.org:). A paste for another guild, format or version is refused whole. - The format is documented for forevercommunity.org's developers, field by field, with JSON Schemas and examples the addon is tested against, so the site and the addon always agree.
Changed
- Raid events and signups. An event made by an import keeps the site's id; a signup made on the site is written by a Raid leader for the player and marked "site" on Raid Signups. The player's own signup in game always wins over a site one. A client on 1.0.0 shows an imported raid without its id and doesn't see site signups: the guild updates together.
- The sidebar's entries may now get as short as 17 px (18 before) in a short window, so the Guild Master's nineteen tabs fit the smallest one.
Good to know
- 1.1.0 has run in a fake client only, as 1.0.0 has. Large pastes (200 KB and more) into the Import box and out of the copy box wait for a check in game.
