ForeverGear-1.1.3
What's new
ForeverGear 1.1.3 — Changes since 1.1.1
Armor & Upgrade Logic
- Reworked armor-type handling to better match Classic itemization.
- Lower armor classes are no longer automatically rejected if the character can wear them.
- ForeverGear now evaluates all wearable armor types and lets the active profile decide whether an item is an upgrade.
- This prevents valid upgrades from being missed just because they use a lower armor class.
Healing Profiles
- Holy Paladins can now correctly evaluate Cloth, Leather, Mail and Plate healing gear.
- Restoration Shamans can evaluate lower wearable armor classes when their healing stats are stronger.
- Restoration Druids can correctly compare Cloth and Leather healing items.
- Healing profiles no longer receive an armor-type penalty simply for using a lower armor class.
Caster & DPS Profiles
- Balance Druids can now properly evaluate Cloth caster gear.
- Elemental Shamans can evaluate Cloth, Leather and Mail caster items.
- Fury Warriors can now correctly consider Leather or Mail DPS pieces when their offensive stats are better than Plate alternatives.
- The same general rule now applies to other specs where Classic itemization makes lower armor classes viable.
General
- Upgrade decisions are now based more consistently on the actual profile weights and item stats.
- Truly unwearable armor types are still excluded.
- The empty-slot upgrade handling from 1.1.1 remains in place.
