Foreverbound v1.1.0
What's new
1.1.0 — a cast bar and a totem bar
- A cast bar to match the bars. Your own casts and channels, drawn like the action bars: the spell's icon, its name (with its rank if you want it) and the time left, or the time left and the total, a spark at the end of the fill, and a red stretch at the end of a cast as wide as your latency. It is yellow for a cast, green for a channel and grey for one that cannot be interrupted; an interrupted or failed cast stays up red for a moment and a finished one stays up full. Every colour is yours to change under Settings > Cast bar. It sits centred above the bars to start, moves in the edit mode all our addons share (it plays a sample cast while you place it), docks, scales and fades like the other pieces, and Blizzard's cast bar goes while it is on. It works in combat: your own casts are readable there. Not in it: other units' casts (the game hides them) and channel ticks. Forgemaster's Craft panel covers it, as it covered Blizzard's, while it draws its own bar.
- A totem bar for shamans. A button for each element you know a totem of (earth, fire, water, air), in Blizzard's order, drawn like the other bars. A click casts the totem the slot holds; right-click it, out of combat, to choose another from the totems you know (the list stays open until you pick or click away, and a right-click does nothing in a fight). While that totem is down the button shows its icon, a green border and a bar along its foot running down with the time it has left, in a fight as well, and its tooltip counts the time down. When the totem's time is up the bar goes. Call of the Elements and Totemic Call get their own buttons when you have them. Blizzard's totem bar goes while this is on, and it shows only for a shaman. Its keys are Blizzard's (the multi-cast buttons). Only the first of the three totem pages is shown, so Call of the Ancestors and Call of the Spirits are not on it yet.
- A profession's own abilities are no longer put on your bar when you learn them. Herbalism, Skinning, Find Herbs, Tanning, Mining and the like all landed on the main bar as each was trained. They are now left off; "...including profession abilities" under the new-spell setting on the General page puts them back. Class spells go on the bar as before.
- The settings window is the one our other addons use. Same pages and the same two columns as before, now drawn by BLib's shared settings window, so it looks and behaves like the rest. It needs BLib 1.10.0.
