Description
Forever Triad
Earn your legends. Build your deck. Claim the board.
Forever Triad brings a Triple Triad-inspired card game to WoW Forever. Earn
cards through your adventures, choose a five-card deck, and challenge another
player or practice against the computer.
Build your account collection
- Collect 40 card designs: 31 dungeon bosses and nine iconic class heroes. (more to come)
- Unlock dungeon cards by completing their dungeon, or class cards by reaching
level 60 on the matching class, on any character.
- Existing achievements can unlock cards when you first enable the addon.
- Share your collection, selected deck and frame preference across characters
on the same WoW account and client installation.
- Open a sealed pack for each newly recorded card. Unopened packs stay saved
through normal logout and reload, so you can finish opening them later.
Choose your ruleset
Standard uses a 3-by-3 board and visible hands. Place cards so their higher
touching numbers capture the opponent's cards. Equal numbers hold.
Fun adds tied-edge dice rolls and chain captures. Captured cards attack their
neighbors for their new owner, and tied edges roll again. Each square can flip
only once per move. Bright facing-number glows, curved attack streaks, shared
dice results and animated flips help you follow the battle.
Both rules automatically use Ranked when both clients can independently
verify every card in both decks. Otherwise eligible decks use Unranked when
some earning proof is unavailable. Ranked describes card verification: there
is no rating, ladder or saved match history. Compatibility checks cannot
prove another player's addon is unmodified.
Make your deck your own
Cards feature native character models and dungeon-themed scenes. Choose
Forged steel, Royal filigree or Dragonscale frames; both players see each
deck's chosen style. Pack reveals, capture motion and victory, defeat and
draw effects have sound. Animations, reveal sound and match sounds can be
switched off separately in How to play.
Start playing
Open /ftriad (or /ft), visit Collection, and select five earned cards. Choose Practice
to learn the rules. For a player match, both players need the addon enabled,
must be nearby and out of combat, and should target each other during setup.
One challenges, the other accepts, then both review the rules and verification
mode before choosing Ready to play.
