Forever Stat Search

Forever Stat Search adds stat filters to Auctionator for WoW:Forever. Find cloth with frost damage, gear with a minimum amount of intellect, or the cheapest item with the spell power you need.

Filter by stat, equipment type, slot, required level, and price. You can also search item names and tooltip text, then sort by price, stat amount, or cost per stat point. Random rolls are kept separate when the game provides their details.

The addon searches your saved auction data, so you can browse away from the AH and change filters without scanning again. At an auctioneer, you can check matching items against current listings and open them in Auctionator.

Getting started

1. Install Auctionator and Forever Stat Search.
2. With both enabled, run Auctionator's Full Scan at the AH to save the item data.
3. Open /fstats or /statsearch, or click Stat Search above the AH. Click Find items and choose your filters.
4. To check current listings, select an equipment type, stat, and level range, then click Check live (10s) at the AH.
5. Double-click a result or use Open in Auctionator to check the roll and buy it there.

A few limitations

Live checks run for about ten seconds and keep whatever results they finish checking. They start with items already in your saved data, so new items and rolls need a fresh Auctionator Full Scan. That full scan still has its usual cooldown and can take longer.

Saved listings may have sold or expired. The result labels show which prices came from saved data, which were checked live, and which are estimates. Base-item estimates aren't prices for a specific random roll.

Some stats are read from tooltips; that currently supports English. Procs, use effects, set bonuses, and unfamiliar effects may need a tooltip-text search instead of a numeric stat filter.
