Forever Simple Skin 0.12.2 - Blizzard's windows, rebuilt
New since 0.8.12:
- Rebuilt windows: Looking For Group, Social, Guild, Mailbox, Merchant, Bank, Trade, Character, Spellbook, Talents, Professions, Trainer, the game menu, Options (with key bindings) and Macros now open as Forever Skin's own flat, compact windows in Blizzard's place. They open the usual ways (keys, micro buttons, Esc).
- Drag a rebuilt window's bottom right corner to size it; double-click the corner for its usual size. Sizes are kept per screen.
- Talents: Blizzard's grid, planned ranks with Undo, Reset and Apply, search, and a strip that shows each talent's ranks.
- Options and key bindings in one window with a search over every setting.
- Character: put a Firestone, poison, oil or sharpening stone on a worn item by clicking its row (out of combat).
- Macros: a new macro gets the question mark icon so it drags to a bar.
- Use Forever Skin for (was Parts): every part in titled sets; untick one for Blizzard's own, windows switch back at once.
- What's new: a window at login and after a reload with what is new, how to use it, and where to report problems. Don't show again turns it off; Advanced > What's new turns it back on (/fskin new).
- Fixes: Escape no longer brings Blizzard's windows back; Options > Social no longer triggers a blocked action; talents line up on Blizzard's rows.
Many of these windows are new. Please report bugs in the comments, with a screenshot or the steps that cause it, and your class. You can always go back to Blizzard's UI by unticking a part, or by turning Forever Skin off.
