Forever Quest Express

Spend less time clicking through quest windows and keep track of your adventures. Forever Quest Express automatically accepts NPC quests, handles turn-ins without reward choices, and helps you explore quest progress by zone.

Automatic quest handling

• Automatically accepts quests when you talk to an NPC.
• Optional low-level (grey) quest acceptance, disabled by default.
• Automatically turns in completed quests with no selectable rewards.
• Any selectable reward, including a single choice, waits for you to choose it and click Complete Quest yourself.
• Fixed rewards, gold and XP are collected automatically when no reward selection is required.
• Hold Shift while talking to an NPC to interact manually.
• Enable or disable automatic turn-in independently, or switch off all automation.
• Automation pauses during combat, and quests shared by other players remain manual.

Quests by zone

Open /fqe quests to browse your current zone or choose another zone.

• See undiscovered quests too. A bundled Forever catalogue supplies zone entries before you encounter their quest givers.
• Browse separate Regular, Class, Profession, Repeatable and Breadcrumb lists, each with its own progress count, or view All types together.
• See quests marked Finished, In progress, Ready to turn in, Not started, Locked, Unknown or Resolved elsewhere.
• Known faction, race and class restrictions filter the list for your character. Level-locked quests remain part of the target.
• Profession quests, repeatables and missable breadcrumbs are optional. They remain visible with separate progress and do not block the main zone completion target. Class-specific breadcrumbs appear under Class and are still optional.
• Search by quest name or ID, hide finished quests, and browse longer lists with page controls. Search and category filters do not change the main zone target.
• Select an entry to inspect its quest ID, status explanation, category and known quest-giver location. When a location is known, Show quest giver opens the map and can place a waypoint where supported.
• Tracking continues even when quest automation is disabled.

Scan your character

Use /fqe scan or Scan character to read the completion history available from the game for your current character, including quests completed before installing the addon. The scan keeps your selected zone open.

Use Choose zone → Completion history to review recorded completions across all zones. Quests without a known zone mapping are retained under unknown zones. Progress is stored per character; automation preferences are account-wide.

Getting started

Install Forever Quest Express, enable it on the AddOns screen, and talk to an NPC normally. Type /fqe to open settings or /fqe quests to open the tracker. Automatic acceptance and turn-in are enabled by default; low-level quest acceptance is off.

Compatibility and quest coverage

Built for WoW Forever beta, interface 16001 / game version 1.60.1. No additional addons are required.

The bundled lookup contains 3,357 quest IDs across 47 map IDs, derived from the MIT-licensed AllTheThings Forever database. Attribution and the license are included in the download. Quest names come from the game and may temporarily appear as Quest #ID when unavailable.

Forever is in beta, and the community catalogue is partial. A listed quest is not a guarantee that it is currently obtainable; requirements and availability may change. Zone progress is based on the catalogue and your discoveries, rather than an official game achievement total.

The addon processes quests as the NPC presents them. If the conversation closes, speak to the NPC again for remaining quests. Disable overlapping quest automation in other addons so they do not choose rewards or complete quests independently.

Settings use SavedVariables. Some Forever beta builds may not restore addon settings at login; check /fqe status if your preferences reset.
