Forever Profession Capper

-Inspired by the 3.3.5a addon Profession Capper- this addon was created using Grok

Shows the cheapest or fastest way to level your professions in World of Warcraft: Forever, using live Auctionator prices.

When you open a profession window, a recommendation frame appears with the best next craft for your current skill. You can switch between Cheapest (lowest material cost per skill-up) and Fastest (highest expected skill gain) at any time.

Features

• Recommendations for all major professions: Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Tailoring, Leatherworking, Engineering, Enchanting, Cooking, and First Aid
• Live material cost estimates from Auctionator
• Two modes: Cheapest and Fastest
• Minimap button for quick access
• Drag the recommendation frame or minimap button anywhere you like
• Built for the Forever client (Interface 16001)

How to use

1. Install Auctionator and run a full AH scan so prices are available.
2. Open any profession window — the recommendation frame appears automatically.
3. Use the minimap button:
   • Left-click — show/hide the frame
   • Right-click or Middle-click — switch between Cheapest and Fastest
   • Drag — move the button around the minimap

Slash commands

• /fpc cheapest — prefer lowest material cost
• /fpc fastest — prefer fastest skill-ups
• /fpc toggle — show/hide the frame
• /fpc reset — reset settings

Notes

• Recipe data is based on Forever beta leveling routes (as of late beta). Some ranges may change at launch.
• Gathering professions (Herbalism, Mining, Skinning) and Fishing are not covered — they level by gathering, not crafting.
• If Auctionator is missing or has no price for a material, the addon falls back to vendor price when possible.

Report bugs or missing recipes and I’ll keep the data updated as Forever stabilizes.
