# Forever Guide — dungeons, loot, items and recipes for WoW: Forever

**Everything you'd look up on Wowhead while leveling, in one in-game window:** dungeon quests with their chains, boss loot, where any item comes from, a Wowhead-style item catalog, auction prices and every Forever recipe. In all 10 languages of the game client.

## 🏰 Dungeons

• All **35 dungeons**, including the **9 new Forever dungeons**: Hall of Thanes, Ruins of Lordaeron, Excavation Site: Wetlands, City of Dalaran, The Drowned City, Krol'dok Stronghold, Alcaz Prison, Blackmaw Hold and Shaper's Terrace.
  - A **search box** above the list: type part of a dungeon's name in any language.
  - **Quests** for every dungeon, with your status: ready to pick up, in your log, needs a prerequisite, done.
    - Left-click a quest to open its card: the reward and the **whole chain from the very first quest**.
    - Right-click a quest to set a waypoint to the next step.
  - **Loot** from every boss (Forever loot lists) and from ordinary mobs, plus the drops you've seen yourself.
  - **On the map.** Tick "Show on map" to see a dungeon's quest givers and entrance on the world map and minimap. For the new Forever dungeons, entrances and quest givers are always shown, because Questie doesn't know them yet.

## 🔍 Item search and catalog

- **Where does it drop?** Type a name or Shift-click an item. You'll see every mob, chest, quest, profession and vendor it comes from, with drop chances. Sort by best to farm, chance, level or zone. Click a mob to set a waypoint.
- **A catalog like Wowhead's:**
  - Weapons by type.
  - Armor by type, then slot (Cloth → Head, Shoulder, Chest…).
  - Accessories: cloaks, necklaces, rings, trinkets and so on.
  - Bags and ammo.
  
  Filters: item level, required level, "up to my level", rarity and source. **Over 11,600 items**: everything in the WoW: Forever client tables, even items whose source isn't known yet. Levels and rarity come from those tables, and new Forever items are marked.
- **The item card** shows where the item drops, who crafts it and which quest rewards it. For quests it shows who gives the quest, where they stand, and the whole chain before it. It also lists the vendors that sell the item, the chests it's in, and the bags, boxes and clams it can come out of.

## 💰 Auction prices

- Click **Scan auction house** on the auction house window, or type /fguide ah. The addon remembers the lowest price per unit of every item, separately for each realm and each auction house (Alliance, Horde, neutral).
- Prices appear in item tooltips, item cards and recipes. Recipes show reagent cost, item price and **profit after the 5% cut**.
- Every scan is compared with the usual price, for example "▼ 20% cheaper than usual".

## 🏷️ Tooltips your way

- Every item tooltip gets a line or two about where the item comes from and what it costs on the auction house.
- Too crowded? Show these lines **only while holding Shift, Ctrl or Alt**, or turn them off. Use the Tooltips button at the top of the window or /fguide tips.

## ⚒️ Professions

- All **12 professions: 2,216 recipes, 959 of them new in Forever**, taken from the Forever client.
- For each recipe: reagents you have and need, skill-up colours, and where to learn it (trainer, vendor, drop or Merchant's Favor). One click sets a waypoint to the nearest trainer.

## 📚 Library books

- **40 library books** on the world map and minimap, your progress towards the neck and the ring, and a waypoint to the nearest book.
- Don't need them? Turn them off.

## 🌍 10 languages

English, Deutsch, Español (EU), Español (AL), Français, Русский, 한국어, Português, 繁體中文, 简体中文.

The addon follows your client's language. You can switch with the Language button or `/fguide lang de | fr | es | mx | pt | ko | zh | tw | ru | en | auto`, even if your client speaks another language.

## ⌨️ Commands

- `/fguide` (or `/dungeons`) opens the window. `/гид` works too.
- `/fguide <dungeon>` opens that dungeon.
- `/flfind <item>` opens the item search.
- `/fguide prof` opens the professions.
- `/books` shows library book progress. `/books next` sets a waypoint to the nearest book.
- `/fguide tips always | shift | ctrl | alt | off` controls the item sources in tooltips.
- `/fguide pins on | off` shows or hides the entrances and quest givers of new Forever dungeons on the map.
- `/fguide ah` scans the auction house (when you're at the auctioneer) or shows a price summary. `/fguide ah clear` forgets this auction house's prices.
- `/fguide button` hides or shows the minimap button.
- `/fguide lang <code>` sets the addon language: ru, en, de, fr, es, mx, pt, ko, zh, tw or auto.

## Where the data comes from

Addons can't go online, so everything is bundled with the addon. Whether a quest is done is always asked from the game, so it's never wrong.

- **Items in the catalog:** WoW: Forever client tables (build 1.60.1, via wago.tools). Items the client tables don't carry use the Classic database.
- **Recipes:** the Forever client (via wowforevertalents.com).
- **Quests, NPCs, chains and vendors:** Questie's Forever database. New Forever quests come from ForeverChanges and Wowhead Forever.
- **Boss loot:** the Forever lists (ForeverChanges). Drop chances are from Classic, because Forever hasn't published its own yet.
- **World drops:** the Classic database (cmangos classic-db). Anything from Classic is always labelled "(Classic)".

## Good to know

- TomTom is used for waypoints, and Questie or HereBeDragons for minimap pins, if you have them. Neither is required.
- Found a bug? Post the Lua error text (for example from BugSack) in the comments.

## 🏰 Подземелья

- Все **35 подземелий**, включая **9 новых подземелий Forever**: Чертог танов, Руины Лордерона, Раскопки в Болотине, Даларан, Затонувший город, Крепость Крол'док, Тюрьма Алькаца, Оплот Черной Пасти и Терраса Творцов.
- **Поиск над списком:** впиши часть названия на любом языке.
- **Квесты** каждого подземелья со статусом: можно взять, в журнале, нужен предквест, сделано.
  - Клик по квесту — карточка с наградой и **всей цепочкой с самого первого квеста**.
  - ПКМ — метка на следующий шаг.
- **Добыча** всех боссов (списки Forever) и обычных монстров, плюс то, что выпало у тебя самого.
- **На карте.** С галочкой «Показать на карте» квестодатели и вход видны на карте мира и миникарте. У новых подземелий Forever вход и квестодатели видны всегда, потому что Questie их ещё не знает.

## 🔍 Поиск вещей и каталог

- **Откуда падает?** Впиши название или сделай Shift+клик по вещи. Увидишь всех мобов, сундуки, квесты, профессии и торговцев, откуда она берётся, с шансами. Сортировка: для фарма, по шансу, уровню, зоне. Клик по мобу ставит метку.
- **Каталог как на Wowhead:**
  - оружие по типам;
  - броня по типу, потом по слоту (Ткань → Голова, Плечи, Грудь…);
  - бижутерия: плащи, шея, кольца, аксессуары и т. д.;
  - сумки и боеприпасы.
  
  Фильтры: уровень вещи, требуемый уровень, «до моего уровня», редкость и источник. **Больше 11 600 вещей**: всё из таблиц клиента Forever, даже те, чей источник пока неизвестен. Уровни и редкость взяты из этих таблиц, новые вещи Forever помечены.
- **Карточка вещи** показывает, где вещь падает, кто её делает и за какой квест её дают. Для квеста видно, кто его выдаёт, где он стоит и вся цепочка до него. Там же торговцы, у которых вещь продаётся, сундуки, где она лежит, и сумки, ящики и раковины, из которых она выпадает.

## 💰 Цены аукциона

- Кнопка **«Скан аукциона»** на окне аукциона (или /гид аукцион) запоминает минимальную цену за штуку каждой вещи. Цены хранятся отдельно для каждого сервера и каждого аукциона: Альянса, Орды и нейтрального.
- Цены видны в подсказках вещей, в карточках и в рецептах. В рецептах: стоимость реагентов, цена вещи и **выгода после 5% сбора**.
- Каждый скан сравнивается с обычной ценой, например «▼ дешевле обычного на 20%».

## 🏷️ Подсказки как тебе удобно

- В подсказку любой вещи добавляется строка-другая: откуда вещь и сколько стоит на аукционе.
- Если подсказки перегружены, показывай эти строки **только с зажатым Shift, Ctrl или Alt** или выключи их. Это кнопка «Подсказки» вверху окна или /гид подсказки.

## ⚒️ Профессии

- Все **12 профессий: 2 216 рецептов, из них 959 новых в Forever**, прямо из клиента Forever.
- У каждого рецепта: какие реагенты есть и сколько нужно, цвета навыка и где выучить (тренер, торговец, добыча, Merchant's Favor). Одним кликом — метка на ближайшего тренера.

## 📚 Библиотечные книги

- **40 книг** на карте мира и миникарте, прогресс до шеи и кольца, метка на ближайшую книгу.
- Не нужны — выключи.

## Откуда данные

Аддоны не могут выходить в интернет, поэтому всё собрано заранее и лежит внутри аддона. Выполнен ли квест, спрашивается у самой игры, так что это всегда точно.

- **Вещи в каталоге:** таблицы клиента WoW: Forever (сборка 1.60.1, через wago.tools). Вещи, которых в этих таблицах нет, берутся из классической базы.
- **Рецепты:** клиент Forever (через wowforevertalents.com).
- **Квесты, NPC, цепочки и торговцы:** база Questie для Forever. Новые квесты Forever — из ForeverChanges и Wowhead Forever.
