🎉 First public release of Forever Easy Find & Send (FEFS)!

FEFS is a quality-of-life addon built specifically for World of Warcraft: Forever, focused on making character names easier to find and use across the game.

✨ Features

• Added a dedicated Contacts panel integrated into the Send Mail interface.
• Added General, Guild and Favorites contact views.
• Added accent-tolerant character search.
  • Names containing accents and special characters can be found using their simpler equivalents.
  • The original character name is always preserved when performing an action.
• Added search using available character metadata such as name, level, race and class.
• Added account-wide persistent Favorites.
• Added quick Mail recipient selection directly from the Contacts panel.
• Added Whisper recipient suggestions when using /w and other supported whisper commands.
• Added mouse and keyboard navigation for Whisper suggestions:

• Added character class icons, class colors and metadata where available.

🌍 Localization

Initial localization support for:

Unsupported locales fall back to English.

• Added a local indexed character search system.
• Added batched character and guild database updates.
• Optimized searches for large character directories and guild rosters.
• Reused UI rows instead of continuously recreating interface elements.
• Avoided permanent OnUpdate polling.
• Added optional performance diagnostics for troubleshooting.

• No external servers.
• No telemetry.
• No external character database.
• No account system.
• Character data and Favorites are stored locally using World of Warcraft SavedVariables.
