Browse, vote, compare
- Class changes: expand compact sections for each class and specialization, with sources and the patch date close at hand.
- Game changes: browse the rest of the bundled patch notes and updates.
- Suggestions: vote on the community proposals included in the current catalog.
- Three choices: positive, neutral, or negative. You can also remove a vote.
- Analytics: see counts and three-part bars for the votes your addon has collected.
Open /council, choose a topic, and vote. The right-side tabs switch views; the arrow drawer holds filters.
Sharing happens in the background
A fresh installation starts with Community sharing selected. Normal opening and voting handle connection setup when the client allows it. Your choices save locally first. New votes join the shared tally when you and a collector are online and connected. If no collector is available, your addon keeps your choices and shows that they are waiting. At launch, collector availability is limited; collection is not an always-online service.
Once collected, votes can pass between connected addon users even when the original voter or collector is offline. Totals may differ while players catch up. You can choose a narrower sharing mode or turn sharing Off in Settings. Existing sharing preferences are preserved.
The gold activity marker shows actual loading, checking, saving, or sharing. Grey choices are selected; unavailable controls explain why when you hover over them. Saved shared votes are checked again at login before they count, so a larger collection takes longer to load.
What the numbers mean
These are participating character votes, not a realm-wide poll or a count of unique people. Alts can vote separately. Forever Council shows the collection available to your client, not every vote ever cast. It is a community addon, not an official Blizzard voting channel, and does not promise that votes will change the game.
Patch notes and suggestions are bundled with addon updates. The current catalog covers the September 24, 2026 development notes and known issues, plus the September 22 client update. Known issues and explanatory context are readable without voting controls. Suggestions are curated entries, not a live submission forum.
Companion website — preview
Read the patch notes and explore response charts at Forever Council.
The website is in preview. Google voting and addon results exchange are still being set up and tested. The addon works without a website account.
Install and get started
For WoW: Forever (1.60.1 / Interface 16001). Install the addon normally through CurseForge, or extract the ForeverPolling folder into Interface/AddOns. Enable it and type /council. No companion app, website account, or separate player setup is required.
Please report bugs in the comments with your addon version and what you were doing.
