Forever Achievements

WotLK-style achievements for WoW Forever.

• Achievements for questing, exploring, professions, dungeons, raids, reputation and PvP
• Your history counts: levels, quests, kills, and reputations you already have are picked up on first login
• A window modelled on the Wrath achievement frame, with points, series, toasts and an on-screen tracker
• Compare achievements with other players and show off earned titles
• Chat links, guild announcements and tooltip hints (critters to /love, rares, books, food)
• WoW Forever's own achievements included, in the matching categories

Your history counts

You do not start from zero. Forever Achievements reads what the game already knows: your level, quests, explored map, skills, reputations, honorable kills, boss kill statistics and collections. On first login it quietly marks everything you have already done, without a flood of popups.

Categories

• General: levels, riding, gold looted, pets and mounts, falling, /love on critters, Pest Control, books, food and drink, rare enemies and more
• Quests: quests completed, daily quests, quest lines, Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor
• Exploration: every zone of Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor, plus Riverglades, Shen'dralas, Mount Hyjal and Zephras Isle
• Professions: ranks from 75 to 300, Cooking recipes, fishing catches and rare fish, First Aid
• Dungeons & Raids: classic dungeons and raids, the new Forever dungeons, world bosses
• Reputation: Exalted series, home cities, classic and new Forever factions
• PvP: honorable kills, honor ranks, battleground victories and feats (including Darkspear Islands), duels, faction leaders
• Feats of Strength: legendaries, rare mounts and rare finds
• Statistics: the full statistics tree of the Forever client

Class milestones, profession ranks, Spelunker, Conqueror, honor ranks and the Field of Honor journey are WoW Forever's own achievements. They are read straight from the game and placed in the matching categories.

Features

• Summary page: recent achievements, progress per category, suggestions for your current zone, and all your characters with their points
• Tracker: right-click an achievement to follow its progress on screen
• Chat links: shift-click an achievement to post it; players with the addon see a clickable link
• Compare: right-click a player and pick "Compare achievements", or type /fach compare Firstname Lastname
• Titles shown to other players with the addon
• Guild and group: see when guildmates earn achievements, with optional guild chat announcements
• Tooltip hints: critters still waiting for /love, pests and bosses to slay, rares, food not yet tasted, books not yet read
• Look and feel: 8 themes, window size and opacity, toast time and position, sounds, compact cards and sorting
• Minimap button and a key binding

Commands

/qa and /fach are the same command; use whichever you prefer.

Reporting problems

Forever Achievements is updated almost daily during the WoW Forever beta. If something does not count or looks wrong, please let me know in the comments:

1. Turn on Lua errors with /console scriptErrors 1 and copy the error text.
2. In Settings, turn on Show keys and IDs in tooltips and include the achievement's key.
3. Say which character, faction, and zone it happened on, and what you expected.

Known limitations of WoW Forever

These come from the game client, not the addon, and some may change during the beta.

• No combat log for addons. Kills are seen when your target dies or when the game reports a boss encounter. A kill you never targeted may not count.
• Forever dungeon bosses are not stored by the game (except Rath'mael), so they count only from your next run. Excavation Site: Wetlands has no kill statistic at all.
• Some statistics lost earlier counts during the beta. Fishing catches use your Fishing skill as a minimum, but other counts may start lower than your real history.
• History that cannot be recovered: where you fished, which critters you /loved and which books you read before installing.
• Account-wide: pets and mounts are shared in Forever, so collection achievements count for every character. Many of WoW Forever's own achievements are account-wide too.
• Addon-only features: titles, comparing, and chat links work only between players who run the addon (comparing needs 0.4.3 or newer on both sides).
• Some faction leaders and titles are based on Classic data and are still being checked on Forever.

Requirements

WoW Forever (beta). Optional: QuestieDB (installed with Questie) enables the Loremaster achievements.
