What's new
- Outgoing combat messages can be long because WoW: Forever protects Combat Log text using Blizzard's KString system. The addon can display these messages accurately, but cannot safely shorten or parse them.
- BLOCK / DODGE / PARRY / RESIST events may occasionally appear duplicated in some situations due to multiple Blizzard combat event sources reporting the same result.
- Some defensive events may be delayed or missing depending on which combat event WoW: Forever provides.
- Combat information may behave differently when multiple players attack the same target.
- Target defensive results can occasionally be difficult to attribute correctly because some UNIT_COMBAT events do not provide the source of the attack.
- DoT and periodic damage information may not always behave exactly like direct attacks.
- Blizzard may change combat-related APIs during the WoW: Forever beta, which can temporarily break or change addon behavior.
- Reloading the UI, changing Combat Log filters, or switching chat tabs may affect Combat Log message availability.
- Some UI elements may behave differently between language clients or after Blizzard UI updates.
