What's new
FlashHUD 2.1.4 for WoW Forever
Auto Shot timing and sounds
- Reduced Auto Shot bar flickering during Aimed Shot, Tame Beast and other long casts, including casts started during Auto Shot's loading phase.
- Improved handling of movement-event bursts, repeated start events and target changes so they do not unnecessarily restart or interrupt the displayed Auto Shot timer.
- Auto Shot continues to run alongside Aimed Shot and Sniper Shot. The separate cast bar continues to show the special cast.
- Added Prevent Auto Shot cut-off under Automation → Ammo → Weapon Sounds to preserve Auto Shot audio when special attacks overlap it, including Aimed Shot and Multi-Shot.
- The sound option starts enabled for new users and is enabled once when existing users update. Your later choice to turn it off is remembered. Existing bow/gun mute settings are respected.
Cooldown Manager and DualTrigger
- Raptor Strike can now glow while it is queued for the next melee hit. The glow clears when the queued state ends.
- The default queued effect is Yellow Outline, under Cooldown Manager → Spell effects. It defaults on for new and existing users, and can be disabled or customized.
- You can remove the Raptor Strike effect. Adding it back starts with Yellow Outline again; disabling an existing effect keeps it disabled.
- Fixed DualTrigger → Edit this tab so it includes enabled buttons such as Melee weave, rather than exposing only the currently selected button.
Smart Trap and trainer map
- Stabilized active trap icon positions when switching between enemies. Tracked enemies retain their assigned positions instead of moving through the row when the current target changes.
- Fixed stale Hunter trainer pins appearing on the wrong map when opening or changing the world map during combat. Pins that do not belong to the displayed map are hidden while rebuilding waits for combat to end.
Tracking warning
- Added Warn when no tracking under Alerts → Status, enabled by default.
- Characters with Herbalism or Mining receive a NO TRACKING ACTIVE warning when no tracking ability is enabled.
- Any active tracking ability satisfies the warning, including Track Humanoids, Track Beasts, Find Herbs and Find Minerals. FlashHUD does not change your tracking selection.
- Characters with neither Herbalism nor Mining do not receive this warning. The setting is included in Status profile sharing.
PetHUD clicks
- Normal left-click on the pet portrait, HP or Focus now selects your pet consistently before and after combat.
- Moved optional pet marking to Shift-left-click outside combat. Marking no longer replaces ordinary pet selection, which could leave your previous target selected when you tried to bandage your pet.
- Corrected targeting-cursor handling so a pending bandage, spell or item takes priority over marking.
- Updated the marking setting and instructions to describe Shift-left-click. Right-click continues to open the pet menu.
Vendor item tooltips
- Equipment sale confirmations now use a dedicated item tooltip, preventing shared vendor hover handlers from hiding the displayed item stats.
- The tooltip shows the exact item being offered and closes with its confirmation. Sale confirmations and item checks remain in place.
Updating
Replace your FlashHUD addon folder with the FlashHUD folder from the ZIP, then reload the UI or restart the game. Keep your WTF folder to retain settings, layouts and keybinds.
