FlashHUD 1.39.2 — Changes since 1.38

This release brings a redesigned settings menu, expanded previews, new Hunter alerts, combat pet-debuff tracking and easier setup.

Important editing change: With the settings menu open, hold Alt to see which HUD area you are editing. Release Alt to hide the placement outlines.

Settings, themes and setup

• Wider settings menu with a sidebar and clearer feature subtabs.
• Six menu themes: Night Elf, Dwarf, Tauren, Orc, Human and Troll.
• New characters use their race theme when no saved choice exists.
• Reorganized General, Ammunition & Sounds, and Automation settings.
• Updated tutorial with Quick Setup and Advanced paths, feature examples and direct settings links.
• Quick Setup provides a Hunter starter layout. Replaying the tutorial preserves your customized profile.
• Improved spacing, text contrast, sliders and resizing.
• Automation displays its scrollbar when scrolling is needed.

Preview galleries

• Consistent main-tab previews for Ammo, Alerts, PetHUD, CombatHUD, TrinketHUD, AuraHUD and the duel countdown.
• Switch between Active and Inactive examples without enabling live tracking.
• CombatHUD previews include Indicators, combined cast/Auto Shot/melee/mana bars, Cooldown Manager, spell effects and range.
• AuraHUD includes a Mongoose Bite readiness and glow example.
• Relevant previews include sound tests. Duel previews follow your sound setting.
• Alert previews reflect your appearance settings and can show an unsaved message draft.
• Improved alert icon placement and wrapping for long messages.
• Cooldown previews use your configured rows, sizes and spacing, with a starter-layout fallback.
• Preview windows stay on-screen and appear above the menu when overlapping it.

Hunter alerts

• Improved Tracking: warns during combat when your hostile target requires different tracking. Includes colour, sound and channel choices, with one sound per wrong-tracking episode. Requires the talent and matching tracking ability.
• Feign Death resist: warning with optional sound and a separate default siren. Requires an explicit readable resist notification from the client.
• Unspent talent points: new reminder with improved handling of available talent counters.
• Mend Pet: In range/Out of range text, separate colours, reset controls and a settings shortcut on the range label.
• Corrected Mongoose Bite readiness handling so the five-second dodge fallback does not shorten an active client proc window.
• Improved Status & Equipment layout and aligned warning controls.
• Feign Death and Growl previews fit within their movement group.

PetHUD and pet debuffs

• Pet-debuff tracking works in combat using the client’s aura renderer, including tooltips, timers and stack counts.
• Attach debuffs to Blizzard’s pet frame or FlashHUD, or move them independently.
• Above/Below placement, adjustable icon size and horizontal or vertical growth.
• Empty trackers leave no visible square or hover-only placeholder.
• Preview effects and direct settings shortcuts in Unlock mode.
• Tighter PetHUD movement bounds and improved attached-debuff positioning.
• Separate options to hide Blizzard’s pet frame and Summon Hawk display.
• Independent fade-until-hovered options for Call Pet and Dismiss Pet, off by default.

Editing, search and interaction

• Hold Alt in feature menus to show placement outlines above the menu.
• Better-fitting movement borders and magnetic alignment.
• Expanded search coverage for new controls and specific preview examples.
• Improved Unlock-mode shortcuts. Finishing a drag no longer also opens settings.
• Optional grid visibility while settings are open.
• Clearer AuraHUD ordering feedback.
• Trinket settings remain accessible while TrinketHUD is disabled.

Automation and fixes

• PvP and Quality of Life subtabs with section sharing.
• Three-second duel countdown with optional sounds, appearance controls and previews.
• Optional automatic duel decline, off by default.
• Ammo restocking automatically matches compatible quiver/ammo-pouch capacity, with a manual fallback. Purchases still require confirmation.
• Weapon-training tooltip cleanup and Pet Layout sharing fixes.
• Reduced redundant tracker/countdown updates.
• Fixed restricted-value errors in menu previews.

Updating

Replace the old FlashHUD addon folder with the complete package. Keep your WTF folder and saved settings. Existing profiles, settings, food bans and keybinds are preserved.

Type /fd to open settings.

Mend Pet remains a visual warning; experimental automatic Mend audio is not included. Summon Hawk timers are cast-based estimates, and range measurements are approximate.
