Favoritism

One-button paladin blessings, visible party and class coverage, and shared raid assignments for WoW Forever.

Favoritism for WoW Forever

Bless your party with one button, see who still needs a buff, and give your paladin a style of their own.

Favoritism prepares normal and Greater blessings between fights. Each click attempts one spell on the next eligible person or class. Your selected target stays in place, and buff coverage lights up only after the game confirms the aura.

Party buffs at a glance

  • Class symbols arranged around the main blessing button.
  • A blessing badge and minute/second timer for each party member.
  • A glow and connecting link for confirmed coverage. Missing and unknown buffs stay unlit.
  • Automatic blessing orders for each class and main talent tree, with per-person overrides.
  • Might, Wisdom, Kings and Salvation priorities you can reorder yourself.
  • Protection-only Righteous Fury badge and right-click action.

The talent tree with the most points supplies the main-tree suggestion. A tied or unavailable tree uses the class fallback. If an earlier blessing is already supplied by another paladin, Favoritism can select the next missing learned blessing in your order. It stops once your own blessing is confirmed. Unknown information never counts as a completed buff.

Greater blessings and shared plans

Auto mode uses normal blessings in parties and Greater blessings in raids, with a manual switch available. Greater buffing cycles through classes that need your blessing and targets an eligible member in range, one native click per class attempt.

Use Personal mode for your own Greater choice, or agree on a buff coordinator and select them in Raid settings. A coordinator can assign one blessing per paladin and send the shared plan. Followers choose whom to follow and can return to Personal at any time. Raid rank does not override that choice.

Addon followers can receive an on-screen assignment notice. An explicit Send can request a fallback whisper for a non-responding recipient. Delivery, assignment and actual buff coverage are separate: a sent plan never lights up a class.

Ten matching themes

Choose Familiar gold or the Human, Dwarf and Undead collections, each with Protection, Retribution and Holy designs. Main frames, member frames, blessing frames and links can also be customized independently, including None.

Adjust the main and member sizes separately, radial distance and applied-glow intensity. Fold the members away to keep only the main button. The settings menu follows the main frame's theme and places a sample view beside the controls.

Try the layouts while solo

The built-in preview shows a full party, raid-class coverage or assignment setup with Missing, Applied, Mixed and Unavailable states. Sample mode disables casting, sending and talent requests. Gallery images labeled Sample use this native preview; they are not proof of a completed live raid.

Getting started

  1. Install Favoritism for WoW Forever and enable it in the AddOns list.
  2. Open settings with the minimap shortcut or /favoritism settings.
  3. Review your blessing orders in Buffing, then choose a theme in Display.
  4. Left-click the main seal between fights to attempt the next blessing.

Move: Shift + left-drag the main button. Settings: Ctrl + right-click. Righteous Fury: right-click when Protection is your confirmed main tree and Fury is missing and learned.

First public release

This build targets WoW Forever's interface 16001. Retail, Classic Era and Anniversary support are not declared. Real Greater casts, large live raids and coordination between multiple clients need broader player testing. The addon handles missing or restricted data conservatively and concentrates on preparation before a fight.

For feedback, include your client build, what happened, and /favoritism report; the copied report omits player names and GUIDs. Use the CurseForge comments to report issues or share your layout.
