FarmTracker 6.0.2

Bug-fix release. Zone detection for saved sessions is significantly more accurate, auto-save now triggers reliably in all sanctuary sub-zones (Area 52, inns), and a grey-item pricing bug that could poison session totals is resolved.

Bug Fixes

  • History zone was often wrong for dungeon / raid sessions. If you ran a dungeon and then went to a city afterwards, the history entry used the city name. The save logic now tracks where you actually farmed (based on your own loot events per zone), not where you happened to be when the session ended. A 5-minute instance tie-breaker protects zero-loot raid runs where you might have gotten nothing from Master Loot but still spent the session in the raid.
  • Preserved group-loot entries polluted zone detection. Other players’ loot was being kept across session boundaries (for the Gruppe log) but was also being counted when determining a session’s farming zone — producing wrong zone names like “Die Dampfkammer” for sessions that never actually happened there. Only your own loot from the current session now counts.
  • Auto-save did not trigger in Area 52, inns, or other sanctuary sub-zones. The addon only listened for top-level zone changes, but Area 52 is a sub-zone inside Netherstorm and inns are indoor sub-zones. Flying into either would not fire the resting-zone auto-save. Now catches all three zone event types.
  • Grey (junk) items could be priced from AH listings. If someone listed a grey item on the AH at an inflated price, TSM / Auctionator would expose that as a market price and the tracker would use it — producing session totals in the thousands of gold that weren’t real. Grey items now always use vendor price, bypassing AH data entirely.
  • Manual save sometimes used the wrong zone. Clicking the save button while standing at your farm spot would occasionally save a different zone due to stale tracking data. Manual save now prioritizes the game’s live zone (where you are right now) since that is the most reliable signal when the user is actively saving.

Changes

  • Dungeon and raid loot now tagged in the Gruppe tab. Loot dropped in a raid gets [R] (red-orange) before the zone name. Loot dropped in a 5-player dungeon gets [D] (blue). Outdoor / world loot is unchanged.
  • Count column removed, zone column widened. The x2, x3 etc. count column in the Gruppe tab was almost always empty or showed x1. Removed it to give the zone column more room — outdoor zone names now fit up to 16 characters, instance-marked zones fit up to 12 plus the [R] / [D] prefix.
  • Auto-save on /afk. When you type /afk or the game flags you AFK, the tracker now waits 60 seconds and then saves the session automatically. If you return before the timer fires, nothing happens. Can be toggled off under Help → Auto-save on AFK.
  • Fly-over no longer triggers auto-save. If your taxi path crosses a sanctuary zone (e.g. flying over Shattrath), the resting auto-save used to fire mid-air. Now only landings trigger the save, since only a real arrival signals end-of-session intent.
  • Mini view exit simplified. The chart view’s I/V toggle pair was replaced with a one-way V button. To exit chart view, click the Solo / Gruppe button — same button you would use anyway to switch list modes. One less control to learn.
  • Diagnostic separator lines shortened in /farm auctcheck output so they wrap better in narrow chat frames.

Compatibility

  • No breaking changes. Session data, item database, mail history, favorites, and all settings carry over from 6.0.1.
  • Tested against WoW TBC Classic Anniversary (Interface 20505).
