EzAcquaintances

EzAcquaintances is a contact book for your character that keeps people for as long as you like, and remembers who they are *to you*. The addon notes who you met. You write who they are.

What's new

EzAcquaintances

v1.0.0

  • Remember who you roleplayed with. People you group, trade or duel with, who buff you (or you thank with Buff Me Please), whisper back and forth, who emote at you (or name you in an /e line), or who you target and talk to in /say land in Recent faces with where and when you first met, when you last saw them, how often you've met and their race, class and level when the game tells us. Nothing is ever sent to chat.
  • Your book. Add a face to the Book with one click and write who they are: a "known as" alias, a relationship, tags (ally, rival, owes me gold, ... or your own) and a free-text note. Faces you never add are forgotten after 14 days.
  • On their tooltip. People in your book show your alias, relationship, tags and note on their tooltip, and a small badge by the target frame while you target them (click it to open them in your book).
  • Where's my group? Hovering a party or raid member who's out of sight shows their zone on their tooltip.
  • Right-click a name in the list to target them when they're nearby (out of combat).
  • Whisper them from the book: the Whisper button on their page, or middle-click their name, opens a whisper to them (you still write and send it yourself). With EzAccent, EzOOC or EzTongues loaded, right-click the button to whisper in your accent, out of character or in a tongue instead: their box opens on the whisper, and the way you pick becomes the button's (and middle-click's) usual one.
  • One book per character, and your other characters' meetings show up too: "Bob met them in Goldshire".
  • /acq (or /ezacq), a key binding (Options > Keybindings > EzAcquaintances) or the draggable icon opens the book; right-click the icon for options, where each way of meeting someone can be switched off. /acq add, note, tag, forget and who work from chat.
  • Minimap button and addon drawer. The book also opens from a minimap button (drag it around the minimap's edge) and, in Forever, from the addon drawer by the minimap; right-click either for options. The launcher icon and the minimap button can each be hidden on the options page or with /acq icon and /acq minimap.
