v1.8.1

  • Fixed a Lua error that would occur when the option to hide filtered items is turned off.
  • Added an option to the filter menu to open the main Extended Vendor UI configuration panel in the Interface options.
  • Worked around a bug in which using the /evui command to open Extended Vendor UI's configuration panel would not open to the correct Interface page the first time per login/reload.

v1.8.0

  • General/Appearance
    • The text that displays the number of items hidden by search criteria is now grayed out when there are no items hidden.
    • The text displaying the number of hidden items now also displays the total number of items the vendor has for sale. [e.g. "4/12 items hidden"]
    • Hovering over the items hidden text now shows a tooltip listing items hidden by the current search criteria, and the reason why they're filtered. (max 40 items shown)
    • Added a new configuration option: Reduce Lag. When this option is enabled, non-essential functionality that would normally have a significant impact on performance will be disabled, greatly reducing hanging/stuttering. Specifically, this currently only affects the availability of the "Hide Known Recipes" filter option; When High Performance Mode is enabled, this filter cannot be turned on or off and will be ignored at all times and the option will be disabled in the filter menu. The Reduce Lag option will default to enabled.
    • Further improved performance when opening vendor windows, scrolling between pages and searching (even without the Reduce Lag option enabled).
  • Filters & Search
    • Fixed some vendors' items not being properly marked as unusable/unpurchasable, and therefore not being filtered appropriately.
    • Removed a redundant "Unlearned Recipes Only" option from the filter menu.
    • Heirlooms and toys are no longer affected by the Hide Known Recipes filter, but now have their own separate filter options under the "Collectables" category.
    • The Search box now has a button to clear the search text.
    • The "Hide Already Purchased" recipe filter now includes recipes in the player's bank.
  • Quick Vendor
    • The Quick Vendor feature will no longer attempt to vendor items that are a part of an equipment set.
    • New options added:
      • Outdated gear: When enabled, rare and epic equipment from expansion content the player has out-leveled will be included in the quick vendor process. Like other options, this only affects bind on pickup (BoP) items. Defaults to enabled[Example: Rare or epic Burning Crusade or Wrath of the Lich King gear will be vendored if the player is level 90 or higher]
      • Outdated food/drink: When enabled, food or drinks the player has out-leveled will be included in the quick vendor process. Defaults to enabled[Example: Smoked Talbuk Venison will be vendored if the player is level 65 or higher]
      • Compact chat messages: When enabled, selling items via quick vendor will no longer display messages with the names of items sold, instead just displaying the total number of items/stacks sold. Defaults to enabled.
      • Slightly adjusted the width of the quick vendor confirmation dialog and the positioning of the text indicating the reason items are being vendored, to reduce the chance of item names overlapping the vendor reason text.
  • Bug Fixes
    • Fixed PlaySound related Lua errors when changing options in the main configuration or quick vendor configuration panels.
    • Fixed an issue where item slots would use the wrong item quality color when one or more items are hidden.
