What's new
EOA Quartermaster Changelog
2.5.1
Multi-Account & Officer Onboarding
- Added Join Existing Ledger workflow.
- Added
/dkp join. - Added
/dkp join OfficerName-Realm. - New or stale clients can safely discard only their local ledger and join the established guild database.
- Join Existing Ledger does not send a synchronized database reset.
- Existing guild data on other clients is never modified by the join process.
- Initial synchronization can be restricted to a specifically selected trusted officer.
- Bootstrap synchronization rejects other officers until the selected source has been validated.
- The selected bootstrap officer must appear in the synchronized Trusted DKP Administrator list before bootstrap completes.
Trusted Administrator Bootstrap Fixes
- Fresh rank 0–3 clients no longer automatically make themselves the only Trusted DKP Administrator before their first synchronization.
- Fixed an onboarding deadlock where two different WoW accounts could each believe their own local trusted-admin state was authoritative.
- Added migration cleanup for the old single-self-trusted-admin bootstrap artifact when the local database contains no meaningful DKP/history/configuration.
- Existing legitimate trusted-admin databases are not modified.
- Trusted DKP Administrators must now:
- Be current guild members
- Have guild rank index 0–3
Guild Binding Fixes
- Improved guild identity binding during login.
- WoW may initially expose guild identity by guild name and later expose the Blizzard guild club ID.
- EOA Quartermaster now recognizes this as the same guild instead of incorrectly reporting that the database belongs to another guild.
- Existing name-based bindings automatically upgrade to the more authoritative Blizzard club ID.
- Guild binding now retains normalized guild name and realm metadata in addition to club identity.
- A genuinely different guild club ID remains rejected.
Security
- Initial ledger bootstrap is no longer based on whichever officer responds first.
- New clients explicitly select the trusted officer used as the initial source of authority.
- Unsolicited privileged synchronization is rejected before bootstrap trust is established.
- Existing cross-guild protections remain in place.
Database schema increased to 12.
Protocol remains 11.
