EmberLedger

EmberLedger was vibe coded with the help of AI, so no one should be shocked if parts of it are a little unconventional under the hood. The goal was not to build the most academically perfect addon framework ever written. The goal was to make a clean, useful, lightweight profession tracker that solves a real problem for players managing multiple profession characters. It has been tested through many beta versions, cleaned up for release, and built around practical day-to-day use.

EmberLedger is a World of Warcraft profession utility addon designed for players who manage multiple characters, profession cooldowns, concentration, and session value across their Warband.

Instead of logging between characters and manually checking professions one by one, EmberLedger gives you a compact overview of the profession information that matters most. It tracks known character professions, profession concentration, Imbued Mulch readiness, session gold and item value, pinned characters, hidden characters, and profession-related utility buttons in one organized interface.

Profession Tracking

EmberLedger keeps profession identity separate from concentration tracking. This means the addon can remember what professions your characters have while still displaying concentration information in a clean and useful way.

The main tracking window is built to show important information quickly:

- Character
- Profession 1
- Concentration 1
- Profession 2, when needed
- Concentration 2, when needed
- Imbued Mulch readiness

If a character only has one concentration-tracked profession, EmberLedger places it in the first profession/concentration slot instead of leaving awkward empty gaps.

Imbued Mulch Tracking

EmberLedger tracks Imbued Mulch readiness across your characters and shows when it is ready or how much time remains. This is especially useful for profession alt routines where you want a quick view of which characters need attention.

Session Tracking

The session tracker helps you keep an eye on the value of your current gathering or profession session. It can track:

- Session total value
- Gold per hour
- Elapsed session time
- Session item list
- Individual session item values

The launcher and session window can be customized independently, so hiding the standalone session window does not force session information off the launcher.

Configurable Action Bar

EmberLedger includes a compact profession utility action bar. You can enable or disable individual buttons so the bar only shows what you actually use.

Supported action bar buttons include:

The action bar respects availability rules where appropriate. Spell and ability buttons only show when known, item buttons can hide when unavailable, and zone-specific abilities are limited to appropriate zones.

The Options menu includes organized sections for:

- Action bar settings
- Maintenance and reset tools

You can customize the launcher, session window, tracking columns, action bar visibility, and individual action bar buttons.

EmberLedger is intended to be:

- Safe around combat-sensitive UI behavior

What EmberLedger Does Not Include

This release does not include a minimap button, import/export tools, backup tools, or a seed flyout. Those features may be considered later, but the 1.0.0 release is focused on stable profession tracking, session tracking, Imbued Mulch tracking, and configurable utility buttons.
