ElvUI Cardinal Points

ElvUI Cardinal Points is a lightweight addon without all the bloat that adds simple N, E, S, and W compass markers to the World of Warcraft minimap.

Originally created in 2012, the addon has been updated for current WoW Retail while keeping its original purpose simple and unobtrusive.

The compass markers work with the default Blizzard minimap as well as ElvUI's square and round minimap styles. When ElvUI is installed, the markers use the font selected in ElvUI's General settings. Without ElvUI, the addon automatically uses the default Blizzard font.

The compass letters are displayed in Rogue yellow with a black outline for visibility against the minimap.

No configuration is required. Install it and the cardinal points are ready to go. If you'd like to change the font size, it can be easily adjusted directly in the addon's Lua file. The setting is clearly marked in the code so it's easy to find.
