EdQOL
EdQOL takes the busywork out of looting, selling, gathering and running several characters at once in WoW Forever. It handles the clicks you'd otherwise repeat a hundred times a session: handing loot to the right person, deciding what to vendor or auction, finding ore and herbs, and keeping a multibox team in step. You spend more time playing and less time managing bags.
Built for WoW Forever (client 1.60.1) and also loads on Retail 12.1. No libraries, no dependencies. Auctionator is optional and adds AH prices.
Open the settings with /edqol, the minimap button, or Game Menu > Options > AddOns > EdQOL.
Smart master loot
When you lead a group, EdQOL switches on Master Loot and hands out every drop for you, so you never stop mid-pull to assign items.
- Junk comes to you. Anything at or below your threshold (Poor by default) goes straight into your bags.
- Loot rules per character. Say "linen cloth goes to my tailor" or "all plate goes to my warrior" and it happens automatically. Rules can be an item link or ID, words in the name (
linen cloth), an item type (type:Cloth), trade goods only (goods:Cloth), armour only (armor:Plate), or just drag an item onto the box. - Quick-add presets fill a character's rules in one click: Tailoring, Leather, Mining, Herbalism, Enchanting, Cooking, Engineering, Recipes, Gems, and Cloth/Leather/Mail/Plate gear.
- Quest items go to whoever needs them. If a team member's quest still needs that item, they get it. Otherwise quest items rotate round-robin through the group so everyone progresses together.
- Mage scrolls go to a mage in the group.
- Bind-on-pickup items stay in the loot window so you can decide who gets that blue by hand (you can turn this off).
Example: you're running Deadmines with three of your characters. Linen and wool drop and land in your tailor's bags, the plate belt goes to your warrior, the Red Bandana quest drops are shared out until everyone is done, and the BoP blue waits for you to choose.
Trading in one click
Open a trade with one of your characters and EdQOL fills the window with everything in your bags that their loot rules match (up to six slots, soulbound items skipped). Check it and press Trade. No more dragging stacks one by one.
Know what every item is worth
Every item tooltip tells you whether it's worth more sold to a vendor, listed on the Auction House (after the AH cut), or disenchanted, and the best choice is shown in green. Hold Shift to see the disenchant breakdown: which materials it can give, the chance of each and what they're worth.
Bag tools
- Bag clean-up (
/edqol clean): go through your bags and mark each item for Vendor, AH or Disenchant (greys are skipped, they sell themselves). At a vendor, one button sells everything marked Vendor. At the Auction House, a listing window walks through your AH items: one click loads the item, the next lists it, and matching stacks are combined. Items you always keep (Hearthstone and so on) go on an ignore list. - Disenchant window (
/edqol de): all your unbound gear with its disenchant value, disenchanted one click at a time. Rows that would earn more on the AH are highlighted so you don't shard something valuable. - Mailbox Disenchant tab: send all your unbound green-and-better gear to your enchanter in one go. The recipient is remembered.
- Destroy lowest value item (
/edqol destroy): when your bags are full, it finds the cheapest thing you're carrying, shows what it's worth and why it was chosen, and only deletes it when you click Destroy. Items you never want offered go on a "Never offer" list.
Node finder (optional)
With Find Minerals or Find Herbs on, EdQOL reads the dots on your minimap and covers each one with the actual ore or herb icon and its name, so you can see at a glance whether that's Copper or Tin, Peacebloom or Silverleaf, without hovering over every dot. The icons stay on their nodes as you move. New finds play a sound you pick and ping the minimap so your group sees them too. Off by default; turn it on in Settings > EdQOL > Node finder or with /edqol nodes.
MultiBox Tools
If you play several characters at once, EdQOL keeps them working as one team. Every window needs EdQOL installed.
- Automatic team setup. Your characters find each other on their own, even across two WoW accounts on the same Battle.net account. Strangers can't join.
- Auto-invite and auto-accept. Your main invites your other characters as they log in and converts to a raid when you go over five. The others accept straight away. Someone who leaves on purpose isn't pulled back in.
- Loot mode follows the group. Group Loot while someone outside your team is with you, Master Loot again once they leave.
- Shared quests. Accept a quest on one window and the others accept it too. Abandon it on one and it's abandoned on all (never a quest that's ready to hand in).
- Mirror the lead. Your other windows copy your gossip choices, quest pick-ups and turn-ins, flight paths and popup buttons. Quests with a reward choice wait for you to pick by hand.
- Skip single-option dialogs. Vendors, trainers and flight masters open straight away. Hold Shift, Ctrl or Alt to see the dialog.
- Key bindings for Follow the lead, Make this window the lead and Invite the team.
- Ready-made assist macro on each character:
/assiston the current lead plus a starter spell for your class, with room to add your own lines. - Alerts on your main. Follow broke? Can't follow? Whisper from someone outside the team? Your main window hears about it. When a gathering character spots ore or herbs, your main prints what and where, plays the node sound and shows the node on its own minimap.
- Quest item sharing. Your windows know which quest items each one still needs. Master loot gives drops to whoever needs them most, and trading one of your characters hands over your spares (stacks are split to the right amount).
- Profession trading (optional). Trade one of your characters and EdQOL puts in the materials their professions use: cooking ingredients to the best cook, cloth to the tailor, leather to the leatherworker. If nobody crafts with it, it goes to the matching gatherer instead.
Example: you're levelling a four-character team. You talk to a quest giver on your main and all four accept. You fly to the next town and they all take the same flight. Your hunter skins a pile of leather and one trade sends it to your leatherworker, while your miner's alert pops up on your main's minimap.
