What's new

Added

  • The options are translated into all the languages of the game client: Russian, German, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), French, Italian, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese. The translations were made with AI, with the terms of the official game client.
  • New option Language (at the top of the General tab; only for a client that is not English): use the language of the game or English, the original text. It needs a UI reload. The options also say that the translations were made with AI.

Changed

  • Updated for the game patch 12.1.5: Easy Frames is no longer shown as out of date.
  • The default font size of the countdown on the portrait aura icon is 18 (new profiles; the saved settings are kept).
  • The English texts of the options were reviewed and reworded: shorter and clearer names and descriptions, the same wording for the same option on every frame, and the options that were repeated on several frames now share their texts. The "Show name inside the frame" option of the player, target and focus frames (it was always disabled) is hidden for now.

Fixed

  • Target and focus frames: the aura icon on the portrait (big defensive, crowd control such as a stun, external defensive) was not shown. Blizzard no longer lets addons read the auras of a unit in combat, so the icon is now shown through Blizzard's own aura container: it works in and out of combat, with the countdown on top.
  • The icon now sits inside the portrait ring, under the frame art: the ring, the level badge, the level and the other icons of the frame are drawn over it.
  • Turning off "Use a custom buff size" now gives the Blizzard buff size back right away; before, the auras on the target and focus frames kept the custom size until the UI was reloaded.
  • Target frame: the "Show Blizzard's target cast bar" option works again; the cast bar was always shown, whatever the option said. It no longer needs a UI reload and is on by default.
  • Player frame in a vehicle: the whole health bar turned red when the vehicle took damage. Now only the lost part is shown in red, as in the standard UI.
