What's new

Changelog

1.7.0

New & Improved

  • New Nearby mini tracker: shows your tracked quests within a distance of you, closest first, with an optional distance on each row. Add it from Add Mini Tracker; it is off until you turn it on and reload. Set the radius (50 to 1000 yards) on its settings page. Quests with no position on the map are not shown in Nearby (Current Zone still shows them).
  • A quest Nearby shows leaves Current Zone by default; turn off Take quests out of Current Zone on its settings page to show it in both. The Current Zone, World Objectives and Nearby settings pages explain where a quest can show.
  • Current Zone can be sorted by distance, closest first, on the Current Zone mini tracker (Sort by on its settings page) and on the main tracker (Sort Current Zone by distance on the Section Order page). Each row can show its distance in yards, in a color you choose. It uses the same distance reading as Nearby, so the first time it needs a reload.

Bug Fixes

  • The scenario block can now grow or shrink during combat when its step changes (for example in the Labyrinth of Kindo'jan), instead of overlapping the tracker until combat ends.
  • Nearby and the Current Zone distance sort keep updating during combat.
  • Clicking a quest's icon to focus it now always focuses that quest. The icon could keep a stale selected state, so the first click cleared the focused quest instead.
  • Hide focused item on a mini tracker now only applies while the Focused Quest mini tracker is on. Without it, clicking a quest to focus it made the quest disappear from every mini tracker.
  • Fixed the last line of long objective text being cut off in the mini trackers. The row now measures its real wrapped height a moment after it is drawn.
  • Fixed the mini tracker In combat button being as wide as the whole settings column, and switching it to Fade making the dashboard flash and use a lot of CPU.
  • Mini tracker settings: a checkbox no longer shows the fonts tooltip left over from the Use global fonts row.

Known Issues

  • Nearby and Current Zone distance sorting need a reload the first time you turn them on. The reload will be removed once the distance reading has proven free of taint.
  • Scenario ability buttons were tested only with a test spell, not a real scenario ability.
  • Right-clicking a part of a mini tracker preview to edit it only works for scenarios so far.

1.6.1

Bug Fixes

  • The Labyrinth of Kindo'jan now shows its tier and lives badges during the run, like a Delve does.

1.6.0

New & Improved

  • Quest rows in the mini trackers, such as Current Zone, now show the same quest icon as the main tracker. Left-click it to focus the quest. It has the hover glow, shows the focused quest's rotating glow, and follows the Show quest icons setting.
  • A focused world quest in a mini tracker gets a soft silhouette glow. Choose Silhouette or Rotating arrows under Focused & Scanners > Mini tracker world quest glow. Both follow the Focused quest glow color.
  • Right-clicking a mini tracker's header now opens that mini tracker's page in the settings.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed dashboard search sending some settings, such as Match tooltip opacity to tracker, to the Mini Trackers page instead of their own page.

Known Issues

  • Right-clicking a part of a mini tracker preview to edit it only works for scenarios so far. The other mini trackers will get it in a later update.

1.5.1 (2026-10-16)

New & Improved

  • Show quest tooltips and delayed descriptions only while the tracker is visible or revealed.
  • Add an opt-in setting to match quest tooltip and description opacity to the main tracker's faded opacity.
  • Keep the Presets and compact Scale controls side by side without overlap.

Bug Fixes

  • Keep Blizzard's objective tracker hidden while Duskwatch is enabled, including during profile changes.

1.5.0

New & Improved

  • Open Keybindings above the dashboard from the main tracker's When idle setting with its adjacent gear button.
  • Add extra right-side space to the main tracker's When idle popout menu.
  • Show the idle visibility base modes as a single-choice selection in main and mini tracker menus.
  • Hold a configurable key to reveal the main tracker.
  • Set each mini tracker's combat behavior independently: show at full opacity, fade to a chosen opacity, or hide. Enabled Mouseover and Hold key triggers reveal it while faded or hidden.
  • Combine mouseover and hold-key reveals with the main tracker's idle fade setting.
  • Set each mini tracker's idle visibility independently, with full opacity on its enabled reveal triggers, or make all mini trackers follow the main hold key.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Rares and Treasures set to Bottom drawing over a scenario block and the All Objectives header. When the bottom section would pass the maximum tracker height, it now takes the room that is left and scrolls inside it.

Known Issues

  • The new idle visibility and hold key settings in the dashboard are not fully styled yet; their layout will be polished in a later update.

1.4.0

New & Improved

  • Scenario mini trackers: send Delves, dungeons and raids, and other scenarios to the main tracker or to either of two movable mini windows. Each window has its own width, scale, frame color with opacity, and mouseover fade. Add them from Add Mini Tracker > Scenarios, then choose where each kind goes.
  • The Mini Trackers preview shows the real scenario panel inside each mini window and cycles through the kinds routed to it. Hover a part for its tooltip, right-click it to edit just that part.
  • The Delve icons and border style choices are in the right-click popups for the scenario and Delve panels.
  • Exquisite's Edit Mode can move the two scenario mini windows, set their width and frame color, and toggle mouseover fade.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed high CPU use in new scenarios such as the Aqir Invasion and the Labyrinth of Kindo'jan: the tracker no longer redraws on every widget update, and the dungeon name is no longer repeated under the title.
  • Fixed the scenario panel disappearing after you opened the mini tracker settings in a Delve.
  • Fixed objectives with a full count that the game has not finished, such as a Delver's Call, turning the done green when "Color objectives by progress" is on.

Known Issues

  • Right-clicking a part of the preview to edit it only works for scenarios so far. The other mini trackers will get the same right-click editing in the dashboard preview soon.

1.3.3

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an empty extra block under scenarios such as the Aqir Invasion and the Labyrinth of Kindo'jan.

Known Issues

  • New scenarios, such as the Aqir Invasion and the Labyrinth of Kindo'jan delves, can use more CPU than they should while the tracker redraws. A fix is in progress.

1.3.2

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Lua errors after patch 12.1.5 removed old item, chat and encounter functions: quest and item links in chat, the tracker's quest item names, and the encounter fade rule work again.
  • Fixed high CPU use in areas with many rare alerts: the tracker no longer redraws about once a second as each alert's age and coordinates change. Tooltips and map pins still use current values.

1.3.1

New & Improved

Compatibility

  • Updated for patch 12.1.5.

1.3.0

New & Improved

Rare Alerts

  • Treasure alerts leave on their own once you loot them, including treasures the scanners have no loot data for (Duskwatch goes by the items you loot).
  • Rares RareScanner has recorded as killed show the killed card, then leave.
  • New Hide alerts from other zones setting (on by default): only the current zone's alerts show, and they come back when you return.
  • New Keep alerts for (minutes) setting (1 to 30, default 10): an alert leaves once it is that old, unless you are fighting that rare.

Settings

  • The settings page opens faster: the category on screen is built first, and the others follow in the background or when you click them.

Dashboard

  • While the Duskwatch page has its own size chosen, Ctrl+mouse wheel and the dashboard's Window Scale buttons change only that page's size. With the page on Global they change the normal scale.

Bug Fixes

  • Switching between the Duskwatch and Veilusion+ pages no longer resets either page's scale.

1.2.0

Highlights

  • Rare Alerts: RareScanner and SilverDragon sightings show up in the tracker as cards with a 3D portrait, loot, achievement badges and alert controls.

New & Improved

Rare Alerts

  • Pick RareScanner, SilverDragon or both under Focused & Scanners, Rare Alert Scanners. Each is optional and has its own toggle. Duskwatch reads their alerts directly, so no bridge addon is needed.
  • Alert cards can show a clickable 3D creature portrait (click it to target the rare), loot icons, coordinates, area and time seen.
  • SilverDragon achievement art appears as a badge on the portrait. Hover it for the achievement, Shift-click it to link it in chat. Completed achievements are dimmed with a green checkmark.
  • Set the portrait and badge sizes and positions, choose which corner the badge sits in, and use Exquisite theme borders on portraits, badges and loot icons.
  • Choose how many alerts show at once (up to 10 per source), keep the tracker to a single-card carousel, or put treasure alerts in their own compact section. The Rare Alerts mini tracker has the same controls.
  • Click an alert to set a waypoint, right-click to dismiss it for now, or Shift-click its title to share a map pin in chat. The stop control stops future alerts where the source supports it.
  • New Rare title font, size and color settings for rare and treasure names. They follow the quest title until set.
  • Duskwatch can hide the source addon's own alert popup, so the alert shows only in the tracker.
  • When a tracked rare dies, its card shows a dimmed portrait and a red X for a moment, then clears. The delay and the sparkle animation are adjustable.
  • Loot icons have item tooltips, chat links and Ctrl-click previews, including housing decor. Collected rewards (appearances, pets, mounts, toys, decor and reputation) are dimmed with a green check and sorted last, and a setting hides collected reputation rewards. Currency amounts abbreviate at 1,000 and above, with placement settings for the amount and the checkmark.

1.1.0 (2026-10-05)

Highlights

  • A new Blizzard preset that makes the tracker look like Blizzard's own.
  • Your own colors for parts that only followed the theme before.
  • Scenario, Delve and Mythic+ panels can have their borders turned off and share the quest bar colors.

New & Improved

Presets

  • New Blizzard preset: game font, gold headers on Blizzard's header bars and ornaments, blue progress bars, and matching scenario, Delve and Mythic+ panels.

Colors

  • New color swatches: tracker border, scrollbar, section top line, underline (solid or gradient), icon borders, and scenario and Delve bullets.
  • Progress bars: track color, border color, bar opacity and track opacity.
  • Scenario and Mythic+ bar tracks use the progress bar track color when it is set.
  • Scenario border color now applies to both border styles and to the Mythic+ panel.
  • Mini tracker headers use the header color.

Headers

  • Section backdrop style: Duskwatch, Blizzard, or Blizzard (Colored), which tints Blizzard's header bars.

Borders and Effects

  • New checkboxes: Tracker border, Show icon borders and Show scenario borders.
  • Sparkles can be turned off for the focused quest, click-to-complete quests and quests leaving the tracker.

Click to Complete

  • The card has no quest icon, so the quest text gets the full width.
  • One card color for the fill and the arrival flash, with its own border color and a fill opacity slider.
  • The fill pulses with the border.

Mythic+

  • Mythic+ title color colors the dungeon name. A new Mythic+ timer color colors the timer, white unless set.
  • New Deaths and penalty size slider.

Delves

  • The diamond between lives and the nemesis chest is gone (Blizzard style).

Bug Fixes

  • The click-to-complete arrival flash could be left showing over every row.
  • In the settings preview, rows scrolled out of view no longer take the mouse.
  • With Blizzard Delve icons, the tier flag no longer has a dark box behind it.
