What changed:

• The mana bar now anchors directly to the bottom-left and bottom-right edges of Blizzard’s actual Player Frame resource bar.
• When attached, it inherits the Player Frame’s scale automatically.
• A Blizzard Player Frame scale of 110%, 120%, etc. should therefore keep the addon aligned.
• If Blizzard changes the frame width through Edit Mode, the mana bar follows that width automatically.
• Loading screens re-apply the attachment in case Blizzard rebuilds the unit-frame hierarchy.
• Manual addon scale is now only used while the mana bar is detached.
• The option is now labeled:
  “Snap directly below Player Frame resource bar”
• /dfm debug now reports which Blizzard resource bar the addon found as its snap target.

The current Blizzard unit-frame hierarchy has the player Mana/Power bar inside PlayerFrameContent → PlayerFrameContentMain → ManaBarArea → ManaBar, so anchoring to the real bar is much more robust than the old PlayerFrame + 85/-74 placement.
