Dossier v1.2.1 - The Investigator Update 🕵️♂️📋
This massive update completely revamps your social workflow! Dossier now tracks player encounters automatically in the background, allowing you to focus entirely on the game and manage your records later at your own convenience.
🕒 New: "Recently Seen" History & Background Tracking
-
Two-Tab System: Added clean navigation tabs at the bottom of the main frame to easily toggle between your permanent Spielerakten (Profiles) and the new Zuletzt gesehen (History) view.
-
Automated Group Logging: Background monitor automatically logs the name, realm, class, zone, and exact timestamp of all party and raid members you meet.
-
World Emote Spun: Nearby players in the open world who interact with you via emotes (e.g.,
/waveor/laugh) are instantly recorded in the history log! (Your own emotes are strictly ignored). -
Right-Click Context Menu: Right-clicking any player in the history view opens a standard Blizzard dropdown menu, allowing you to quickly add them to your permanent files, whisper, invite, or ignore them instantly.
⚙️ New: Chat Filtering & Active Group Warnings
-
Mute Chat Feature: Toggle the brand-new checkbox below the notes frame to fully filter and block all incoming chat messages from that specific player.
-
Audio-Visual Group Alerts: Upon joining a group with a negatively rated player ($\le -3$), Dossier instantly plays a Quest-Failed sound and prints your saved note to the chat. Highly rated players ($\ge +3$) trigger a positive notification and sound.
📐 UI Overhaul & Performance Fine-Tuning
-
Fully Resizable Frame: The entire addon window is now dynamically resizable with min-bounds. All input fields, checkboxes, and panels scale smoothly in real-time.
-
Draggable Column Splitters: Customize your history view by interactively dragging the column header dividers. Widths are persistently saved to your settings database.
-
Automated Cleanup: An inline expiration configuration safely wipes unreviewed recent players after a set number of days to keep your saved variables clean.
-
Layout Polishing: Cleaned up overlapping texts, removed border artifacts, streamlined the search bar sorting modes, and utilized explicit icons like the "+" symbol for adding quick player files.
